HI all, I am thinking about the WL for a trip in Nov.

Can you explain the difference in "views"...is courtyard better than woods view?

cooldisneymom, thanks a bunch for the factual picture of what to expect at check-in about the upgrade process. I am going to have faith and just look very excited to be there (will take NO acting!) and also be very polite. 48 days!!!!

poohlover, I have studied this a lot on the boards...you will learn alot from those who have actually been there...I learned this...

Standard can be a parking lot views or rooftops but some of those folks also can see fireworks from some rooms.

Woods is very quiet (that is what we have booked) and can face woods in the direction of MK ( a few see fireworks) or Villas - a point of contention...some woods towards the villas were changed to "courtyard" since they face that pool I think.

Courtyard gives you pool, waterfall, lake views but I have read about folks that got a tree basically. Can be more noisy.

That is what I have learned...good luck...now come on pros., help her out...
