My thoughts on touring plans

I am glad that works for you, but I rather doubt you need to navigate character M&G, especially Anna and Elsa, slow boarding kids attractions, and a multitude of feedback from the 8 people in your party. TOuring plans are helpful for many, not because you are fored to follow them, but because they help you to strategize the day, the direction and themust do attractions.

WE seldom use a formal touin plan, in fact I only made one oncce, and tossed the thing out as soon as we arrived. The actual plannig was beneficial though, because I took time to look at wait times for certain attractions, and what time of day those times increased. Now I know that theall get longet as the day goes on, byt by checking them out, I ws able to have a priority.

I pay the fee for touring plans, I like the additional information they provide and use most of it as a tool for planning my park days and ADR's 180 days out

We actually DO also do the M&G's and the slow boarding kids attractions. We're able to do it ALL and I think it definitely helps that we are only two people. We move quickly. We typically tackle land by land and don't leave until we've done everything. We wait when we have to and then move on to the next. We also do a sit down breakfast and sit down dinner. Although, I can't tell you how many times we've been in a line and have heard "looking for two" and have gotten to cut. That's definitely very helpful.

My very high tech daily touring plan involves a sheet of notebook paper and a pen. On the left side I start at the top with park opening, then go down with a time line of things like FPs, ADRs, parades. On the right side of the page, I make note of things I may have read about, and don't want to forget, like the party line phone in the hat shop, or a snack or drink someone has mentioned. Also on the right are things we want to do that day, but don't have to be at a set time, like the Visa meet

My plan is an excel sheet, with one column per day including EMH, park hours, nighttime shows schedule, any ADRs and our FPs......usually with a morning park and an afternoon park....it seems like an intense plan for me! But I have been countless times being that I am from Florida and went to UCF....
