That is awesome! I love getting on these boards and reading the trip reports. It is so exciting to hear everyone's plans. I'm hoping that we will be able to go ahead with our plans to go next month. My DH is not a fan of Disney so it will just be the kids and I going to the 2 parks. I'm just kind of worried how the baby will do. He will be 7 months when we go. Any advice? Anyway, love hearing your TR!!

My DH surprised me with a birthday trip last year. He didn't tell me until 4 days before we were going and said he wanted to wait until the night before but my mom made him tell me so I could pack and stuff. At least your DH gave you time to make all those cute shirts and stuff.

I've never taken a baby but I know a lot of people who do with great success. I think the only advice I have is take a break in the middle of the day. We always do this. We leave about lunch and headd back to the parks in time for dinner. This way you beat some of the mid crowds and heat.

Itinerary​

Friday - I think we're supposed to arrive at MCO around 12:00 or 12:30.
Check-in at AKL
Head to Epcot (We're taking a change of clothes for dinner and putting them in a locker)
Dinner at Yatchsman @ 6:30
Go back to Epcot for a few while

Saturday - DHS for rope drop
stay until lunchtime
head to DTD for lunch (Wolfgang Puck Express)and shopping
head to resort to change for dinner
dinner at Narcoose's @ 7:25
head back to resort

Sunday - head to MK
breakfast at CRT @ 8:55
dinner at O'Hana's @ 5:30
head back to MK for Spectro and Wishes

Monday - check-out and head to AK for a few hours before the ME bus comes

I've been checking the weather in Orlando and it's looking really good.....highs in the 70's and lows around 50. Sounds good to me!

A Few Questions​

1. We plan on taking a change of clothes with us and puting them in a locker for our dinner at Yatchsman. Has anyone ever used the lockers? How big are they? I'm taking a bag I bought last year at Disney and I'm sure it will fit but I just want to be sure. Here's what the bag looks like. I don't think it'll be full so I can fold it over if I have to. ​

2. Does anyone know what the costs are of the lockers?
3. I remember seeing lockers at the entrance up front but do the have them at the International Gateway also?
4. We've never done a Signature restaurant before and I am "fretting" about what to wear. I keep reading so many different things. I really want this to be a romantic experience. I'm wearing a black dress. Do you think it would be OK if my DH wore tan dress pants, white shirt and tie? Is this too dressy for there?​

LOL Well, I am a mushy one! The shirts and envies etc are great! You did a fantastic job putting everything together! Thanks for joining!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I had alot of fun making it. It's so much more fun to watch it than to look at pictures. It's really like you're reliving your trip. I love the "Mickey head" pictures also. I saw another Dis'er that had done them. They are actually the chairs at Chef Mickeys. My DD is 11 so I'm sure we have alot in common. We have tons of pics with those peace signs. I absolutely plan to continue this when we get back. I'll take lots of pictures and tell you all about it.

Hey Wendy! I was just reading about your what to wear question for the signature dining. I'd say, wear whatever you want! DH and I had dinner at Cindy's on our honeymoon and I wore a white linen dress and he wore linen pants and a white button down shirt. I know we were overdressed for MK, but we wanted dinner to be special for us! I think you and DH will look great in your 'dressy' outfit! Might as well go all out for this very special trip!
