My SS spoiled me

In addition to the summer swap package - I also got a package from my SS yesterday. I am so lucky!

I went through it quickly but I got some adorable beachy charms, a mm charm frame, heart shaped clips, cute fall acorn and leaves embelishments, red magic mesh (I love this stuff!), vellum mat stacks, eyelet mat (which I needed so I wouldn't wreck my CM cutting mat), paper piercer - at prob a few more things that I just can't remember right now. Thank you so much!!!!

Isn't it nice to get a surprise in the mail ? One thing I am learning from this SS swap & even from the summer/holiday swap is to expand my horizons. I might not have tried some of the items I received (like beads, raffia, paper piecing girl, etc.), but I sure do like what I have received! Thank you to all involved in these swaps!!

I have reallly enjoyed this swap thing and guess I will have to do it again...

I have also really enjoyed this - I don't know which more receiving the surprises or the shopping!!!!

As crazy as it sounds - I love shopping for my SS - perhaps even more than getting my goodies - I know that sounds crazy. Though I really like getting things that I've never used before and learning about them (and how to incorporate them into my scrapping!)

I think that as part of our thank you package - we should make something for our SS with the goodies they gave us. (Here - I may be greedy because I love my receiver's goodies from the summer swap...)

I'm also up for doing it again - and willing to reswap names (though we might need to open it up again - 'cuz some who missed the first go round might want to be included.)

I seem to remember some folks who are not in our SS swap commenting that they wished they had been, so I agree that is should be open again plus that way we don't come across as "clicky." (I know I spelled it wrong, but you know what I mean)
