Everytime I go to Disney I always play a game with SWA, and that game is to go for about $100 RT. (not including surcharges, fees, taxes, etc) Here is how the game is played. (For the record I fly from Philadelphia to Orlando, non stop and my flight times and dates never change from the orginal booking.)
I never book a flight until I see it no more than $79 each way and work from there. In fact, we never have plans to go to Disney until I see an airfare that cheap.
On 3/3, SWA had one of their sales and I booked our trip for roughly $150 RT/pp.
Literally, two days later, I received a DING far (search the board to see how to download DING) for $55, unfortunately the far was only valid for one leg of my trip. If it was for both ways I would have declared victory!!) So now my cost was $130RT/pp.
Today, I was able to change the other leg of my journey from $75 to $70 thanks to yet another announced sale. So, still six weeks away from my trip, my airfare is down to $125RT/pp. If this is the lowest it goes, so be it, but I think I will get closer to my goal of $100rt/pp.
The great thing about SWA is when you change an airfare there are no charges and you receive any difference in the form of a credit which is good for one year.
The lowest fare I have ever gotten was last year when, thanks to a DING fare we flew for $78RT! However, given where oil is, I don't think that's happening for a long time.

UPDATE: 4/08
Southwest just put my fare on a regular, non-DING sale, I am now flying $59 each way for a total of $118 rt/pp before fees. My goal is always $100, but I will declare victory as I really can't see the fare getting any cheaper given where oil is priced. So from $150 to $118 I saved a total of $128 for the four of us, not bad for a few minutes work!
