How can you tell if a credit you buy on ebay is legitimate? And Southwest is okay with using other people's credits? We don't fly much, only if we have to, This year I'll be taking the kids alone to WDW, and we're going to fly because there's no way I'm driving that far (that's dh's look out he loves to drive).

I sold my SW credit to my neighbor for a lower price. All she needed was my confirmation # and last name. She booked her trip without any problems.
Obviously they dont sell all the seats at those prices, but if you happen to catch their emails when they come and book fast you can get some crazy deals, even in these days of insane oil prices. Like all things too good to be true though, you can't make free changes to your itinerary on Spirit like you can on Southwest. You would pay boooocooo $$$. Not a problem if you don't plan on changing, but you should definitely be aware of the cost to do so before you book.
