My Son's Nemo Bithday Cake

I decorate cakes for a living, and I must say that to have no experience you guys are doing a great job on the cakes! As far as the cake pan goes, it's just called a doll cake pan, you can order it from Wilton, but I used my Pyrex bowls to make mine, so I didn't have (yet another) cake pan that I would only use once. I have a three piece set of Pyrex, so I just cooked the cake in the large and small bowls and stacked them, cut a space for Barbie (wrap her in Saran wrap first or you'll never get the icing out of her joints, lol and you may also want to put her hair up too.) and iced the cake.

Bengalbelle...

Where did you get the pan for the LSU cake... I love it!
My son would go crazy if I did that for his birthday!

Thanks!
I'm sending you a PM :flower:

this year we did pirates as in POTC. but can't find a digital picture. Just used a football pan and made an island out of it and stuck in playmobile palm trees, pirates, sea creatures and pirate treasure. put it on a blue plate for water. came out awesome! Made treasure chess out of mini loaf pans for school. those were cute also..

I also make cakes "not for a living" but for spending money..I undercharge only because I LOVE to make them..You guys are doing a WONDERFUL job, you never know you could start doing these for friends and family and in no time you could have enough money for a disney trip!!!!

Also you can get pans REALLY cheap on ebay and at yard sales I haven's paid full price for one yet!!
