Ya, it's about time. We're thinking our lawyer called them and chewed them out or something. Who knows. I will, I've been resting when I'm not having to do stuff for my mom. I had to take her on some errands this morning so my knee is really bothering me tonight. I go to the dr about it tomorrow so please pray that's it's just a sprain and no torn ligaments, I don't want to have surgery. :sad1:

I am so glad you got a lawyer

Thank god you got a rental car, it is about time:cool1:

Will be sending good vibes your way for tomorrow that your knee is nothing major :wizard:

Glad you had a nice time at MAW social:cheer2:

Ya, I'm glad we got one too. Hopefully he can get somewhere with them. I know for a fact I've got a ton of medical bills rolling in because of this. Thanks for the good vibes. I appreciate them. :) The MAW social was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our lawyer contacted me Friday afternoon while I was picking up Jeremiah from school. He said that he's got all the paperwork he needed and he'd be sending out letters and contacting the witness's that stuck around.

Friday Jason took the day off, it was awesome. I got to sleep in an hour. :) He got the kids up and dressed and got Ethan on the bus, and took Jeremiah to school. Then he took me to my dr appt, and the dr said that my neck bone is straight and not curved like it's supposed to be, so there's going to work on that, and between L5 and L6 is some slight damage so they're going to work on that as well. I'm also going to be getting physical therapy 3 times a week for the next 6-8 weeks. He said that in a couple of weeks if my knee isn't any better, then he'll do an MRI to make sure there's no torn ligaments. I'm to use my crutches when I can, and wear my brace when I can to take some pressure off my knee. He said that it's going to take some time to heal. After all this, we came back home, got Ethan off the bus and went to Brett's house to start preparing for the engagement party on Sunday. The kids had a blast at their uncles house lol. Jeremiah helped us cook. Then Saturday we went back to Brett's house around 9AM to finish the cooking and me and the boys came home around 7 I guess. I waited in line for gas for an HOUR!!!!!!!!!!!! The gas crisis down here in GA is a bunch of crap and they need to fix it. Today was the engagement party and it was awesome. I haven't downloaded the pics yet, but after my physical therapy tomorrow I'll download them and post some here.

I can't wait for our trip to WDW. It's a much needed break from all the crap that's going on around here. Again, thanks everybody for the thoughts and prayers we greatly appreciate them. :goodvibes :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Wow, it's been a pretty fast day around here. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. Things got ugly around here when we got home from the engagment party. I told my husband to call and let them know we weren't coming for that thing this weekend and it got VERY VERY ugly. Anyway, I'm not going to go into details. Jason told me to call the rental company this morning to find out how much they'd charge us for taking the car out of state, so I did. I asked the guy this morning and he's like what states are you going through and I named as many as I could, and he's like nope you're fine. Have a safe trip and be careful. I was like um okay. :thumbsup2 So, I called Jason to tell him and he's like call them and let them know we're coming, I was like um okay. Which I understood this because he was already at work and he'll only talk to me on the phone when he's not massively busy. Anyway, I made the phone calls for him and OMG it's a HUGE mess. My knee is bothering me from driving, but oh well, I can't really do anything about it. The only time it bothers me is when I drive, but the dr's told me this morning to use cruise control when I could. I started physical therapy today, it went pretty good. My back is really bothering me, but that's because I was on my feet all weekend. I was volunteered by my husband to help him and his boss cater that engagement party. He used the Bible, he said that in Genisis it says that when you get married you become one, so he used that and volunteered me to help. I helped cook Friday, Saturday and helped put the stuff out Sunday and helped clean up Sunday. I made him drive home Sunday night. My back and knee were bothering me. Photobucket takes forever to upload photos.
Ethan is doing pretty good, he's got a runny nose. I think it's because of the wheather change. Jeremiah's doing good. He's back to his same old self. He doesn't really talk about the accident too much anymore. Every now and then he'll say something about it when I'm sitting at a red light or a stop sign, but he really hasn't said too much about it. I just can't wait for our vacation to WDW. It's a much much needed vacation for all of us, and I really can't wait for it to get here.
I was able to get a 2 month extension on our car payment (the car that was in the wreck). The guy was really nice about it. I was like I never never ask for extensions but we need it this time. I explained to him what happened and how much our medical bills were so far, and he's like you'll be fine and you won't have a payment until 11/14. That's really going to help us out A LOT!!!!! I guess that's about all the updates I can give for right now. Photobucket is taking way too long. I'll post those pics when they finish uploading. I'm not going to post all of them, it won't let me, but I'll post the important ones. :)

My goodness girl, that food looks incredible. My daughter in law and my daughters cater weddings for family and friends and I know how much work that is. The pics are great and made me hungry just looking at them. Please take care of yourself. You need to follow the advice that your Doctors and the physical therapists give you. I know it's hard but DO IT! (Yes, I am yelling at you!)

Denise

Sorry about the ugly mess with phone calls.

You are better than I am. I would no go, but ya go to do what you got to do I guess:goodvibes

That food looks incredible. You did an awesome job:thumbsup2

Now cut it out!!!:scared1:

Tell your husband no more volunteering you in your condition. You need to take care of yourself or you could get a lot worse. You want to be in good condition for your trip:woohoo:

We love the make a wish foundation. My cousin CJ received a wish, I actually think the race wish you are referring to was him. He and his parents spent three days with Jeff Gordon at a race. He had so much fun and all the people involved were awesome. I am told Jeff still is in contact with him. Cj was diagnosed at 6 with childhood neuroblastoma, and is currently cancer free.

I know you will have a great time, and I can not wait to hear more of your trip report.

so cute!

LOL awww first time I've been yelled at on here. :thumbsup2 The food was good, except the flat bread pizzas aren't really a buffet item, they were kind of gross sitting out like that, they got all soggy. I am doing as much as I can that they're telling me to do. I'm bringing my crutches and my knee brace with us while we're gone. I'm going to use the wonderful cruise control while it's my turn to drive. I have cut back on a lot of my driving. I take Jeremiah to school and pick him up and that's about it. Well except for tomorrow Ethan's got to go see the ortho dr, but thankfully I can use cruise control.:)

Oh ya it was an awful mess. A lot of people tell me that I take too much crap from people, but it's really about making my husband happy. They don't like the relationship that me and my husband have. If he wants to do something without me and the kids we talk about it, and if it doesn't fly then he don't do it, and the same thing with me. I know it sounds really weird, but it works for us. I know this is going to sound even more off the wall, but ever since the accident, my husband has been GREAT!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong he's great regardless, but it's been a lot better since the accident. I know that's weird. LOL No no more volunteering me for anything. Thankfully, the next catering gig they have is the Christmas party for the company in December. I don't know if he'll want me to help, but I helped them a little bit last year, then we went to the Thrashers game. Ethan's got physical therapy today, not too excited about that, but he "has" to have it. Thanks for everything and for yelling at me guys. :goodvibes :cool1: :thumbsup2

Whatever works for you, it's all good:goodvibes

I am glad he has been a lot better since the accident and things are good:goodvibes

Doing necessary things, like Eth's therapy is fine of course, just no extras for now:hug:

I just found your TR!! I think that we may be there around the same time!! What are your exact dates? We will be at GKTW Nov. 6-12.

That would be so neat to meet each other and families!!!:)

I just found your TR too. :) Your boys are sure cute!!! :) Look forward to hearing all about your trip!! :)

Ethan's therapy went pretty good today. I was quite suprised he let her do as much as she did with him, like stretching him and making him stand the entire time she was here.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! That would be so cool if we could meet. We are there the 1-7. Send me a PR and I'll give you my cell number so we can keep in touch and we can send text messages so we could figure somewhere to meet. That would be so AWESOME!!!!!!

Aww thanks. They're a handful. :)

Wow life is never dull for you is it! Glad the lawyer got on the horn and fixed things with the insurance company. Of course you know it's any insurance company's job to say NO and deny any claim. They don't get moving until they are made to.

LOL about your hubby using the "two become one" thing against you :rotfl: You did a wonderful job anyways and the food looked yummy! Ethan looked like he really enjoyed himself too!

Take it easy and I am glad that things are working out better....say off your feet and try to rest....easier said than done I know!:goodvibes

Nope, never a dull moment here. :lmao: I'm glad he got things done too. I have to go tomorrow to the dealership to pick something up that I left in the car :(. Oh ya, when he wants something he pulls that out all the time lol. But it's kind of funny when he does it. He's a goober. :rotfl2: I am taking it easy, I did way too much yesterday and today. Jeremiah peed in my bed last night so I had to wash clothes all over again after doing it all day yesterday. My mom has a broken and fractured foot and possibly a broken knee, so I have to do the housework for her, which is crap on my end, but physical therapy helped with that today. LOL ya that is easier said than done, but trust me every chance I get to sit down I sit down and relax. I tried taking a nap today, but that didn't work, my husband called and bothered me LOL. :thumbsup2 :cool1: :goodvibes

mmm...those deviled eggs look devine!

I love deviled eggs!

like the others have said...take it easy from now on young lady ;)

That wasn't even all of them, we boild 5 dozen eggs for that. It was a request from the bride to be. I so don't want to see boiled eggs or deviled eggs in a long long time. :lmao: I will. I'll pack tomorrow that way Thursday I can sleep and Friday I can sleep, since both kids will be at school. Well Ethan will be at school until 12:05 or 12:15. But Friday I definately have to sleep because we're taking turns driving up there. It's a 17 hour drive and we're driving straight through. :scared1:

Wow, it's been one hectic week. Physical therapy is going pretty good. Ethan is now on the waiting list for surgery for his hips. The dr said that if we opt not to do the surgery then he'd more than likely never have a chance to walk. They are going to cut 2-3 inches off the top of his femer bone (no i can't spell), put a plate on it, shave some of the hip socket down, and put the bone back in place. He will be in a cast for 6 weeks after this and he said that this would be the ONLY cast he'd be in for this. Do I want him to go through all that, of course not, I'm sure it's going to massively HURT!!!!!!!!!!! I want my baby to walk, it's not fair. I know I sound horrible by saying it's not fair, I know life's not fair and God has a reason for everything that He does, but it's really starting to hurt me deep down all the pain that my baby has to go through. I know there's a TON of kids out there so much more worse than he is and I'm greatful that he's not in that situation, but coming from a mother it's very painful. I'm just glad I know I have family and friends (especially on here) that have given me the support that I need. Thanks everybody. I will give an update when we get back, or I'll post while we're there. I have to bring my sister's laptop, because my class starts on the 6th and I have to log in 3 days before class starts :(. So I'll try to keep you as updated as I can.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:
