OK, so this is my first post here, so bear with me. I have a tendency to spell everything out...

So, Little background here. I am going to be 40 this year, been married to the best woman in the world since 1999, and have a son that will be 5 in October. The original plan was that I wanted to go to a Chicago Bears game for my 40th, huge Bears fan. My in-laws go to Florida for the winter, and we usually go down in March to visit, and we had planned to go to Disney World for a day or 2 then.

Well, I have some health issues which will prevent me from doing the March trip. So, I have changed my mind - I have this need and desire to see my Son at Disney!!! So, I suggested to wife, Let's go to Disney in like July or August, make use of the 4/3 deal. ANd, lo and behold, she thought good Idea!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

Now, in going to Chicago, we were going to go with a couple of friends that are from Chicago. Well, we asked them if they would like to go. And, sweetness, they said yes, and seemed excited!!:goodvibes

Now, here is some questions for everyone:
Place to stay - Wife and I have stayed at All Star Music long ago (like 13-14 years ago, I think) and Grand Floridian for honeymoon (yeah, I know, big difference there...). :scared1: When we go, I may be coming of some serious stuff, and may be weak or out of shape bad, so resort is important. We have thought about All Star Movie, CBR, AKL. I know they are very different in type and price range. ASM is cheapest, but from exp. if it rains, pain to get to buses. CRB is kinda same, but DS would love pirate theme. My favorite choice is AKL, but it is most money. The bed type is also better there, wife and I sleep in King bed, and ASM and CBR have doubles, so that means wife and I would prob have to take turns sleeping with son...

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Sounds exciting.

I don't have much advice for you regarding the resort, it will be our first time too. I am so excited too.
