Just a proud Mama sharing a great moment. My son is 7 years old and has Aspergers. His second grade class had to do a notable person presentation and he chose Walt Disney. He worked so hard on his paper and his poster and was so nervous about speaking in front of all the parents. He did AMAZING!!! Walt would have been proud.

Here are a few pictures of my little man's big moment...

OMGoodness! How adorable! DS7 has to do a short presentation at school tomorrow about something he is an expert on. He picked Disney World. :rotfl:

Looks like he nailed it! You have every right to be proud of him, mama.

My DD's best friend chose Walt too.

I knew I liked that girl!

At our school they do this in 3rd grade...the Famous American report. 5 minutes memorized with incorporated props and quotes! WD is always one of the first people chosen (no duplicates allowed), amongst both boys and girls. Neither of mine were able to pick him, but he was on the top of both of their lists.

He looked great! Congratulations!

He looks absolutley adorable. Tell him good job. Nice to see that the person Walt Disney still is known by kids.

I know just how proud you are! MY DGD also has Aspergers and I can see her doing the same kind of thing...not sure who she would choose. I'm very impressed!!! :thumbsup2
