Thank you to all that have shared their personal stories of loss...I am so very sorry.

Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am to have my two sons and this thread made me run and hug them and tell them how much I love them. My youngest son was 20 months old when he had brain surgery to remove a tumor. Thank the Lord that it was a benign tumor and that all of his surgeries went well because I know the outcome could have been very different.

I am so sorry for your loss, OP. My best friend's sister was killed on 7/14/04, and after hearing your story, I know Lizzie was brought up to Heaven just in time to welcome little William and watch over him until you can join them...Lizzie adored little kids and they all loved her right back. You and your family will be in my prayers.
