My Solo Adventure Part 4- MGM

Day 4 9-13
Off to MGM today. It’s a bit chilly outside. I go straight to The Great Movie Ride. No line…in fact I’m the only one in there and the CM is announcing me over the loud speaker! LOL Finally others arrive and we get in our car. We were taken over by the gangster. It was pretty cool until the Alien part. I freaked out once again Went on the Backlot tour nest. There seem to be some really neat queues but since there was hardly anyone there I walked right by them. Got off the backlot tour which I LOVED and made it to the Hunchback show. I’ve never seen the movie and so maybe that would have helped but I didn’t like the show at all. Walked onto Start Tours and Sounds Dangerous. Eat at 50’s Prime Time Café. Had a nice waiter Manny. I was sitting next to a family of 5 (3 young girls and their parents) The youngest girl was Manny’s helper so she was to tell him if anyone put their elbows on the table or tattle tailed. It was great. The dad had his elbows on the table and the waiter put him in the corner and made us all yell at him. I ate all my lunch so I decided to have a banana split well the host who took my name was coming by with people and everytime he did he would stop in front of my table nad say “Everyone say hi to Meagan she ate all her lunch and so she can have dessert now!” It was a bit embarrassing but really funny. If you eat there you MUST have a sense of humor. One lady at another table was getting an attitude… While I was eating it had started to pour rain! I walked out and was soaked by the time I got to Rock N Roller Coaster. That ride is AMAZING!!! I love Aerosmith and I love fast rides….it was great. It was still pouring when I got out and I walked over to ToT. I walked in and I felt like I was in Psycho! My hair was soaked I was soaked and I was alone! Thankfully others came in after me. I would have wigged out if I had to go on it alone. It was great! Went back across to see Who Wants to Be a Millionaire… I didn’t play very well… LOL Oh well. I decided to leave as I was soaking wet. Head back to the hotel put on some dry clothes and jacket and head to Down Town Disney. Shopped a bit and was so tired went back to hotel and got Take Out food from Pepper Market. It was good and I was tired so I went to sleep.

I LOVE MGM! RnR Coaster is a blast - and I don't usually like to go up-side-down! Sounds like you're getting properly exhausted by Disney!

You've never seen the Hunchback movie? You should visit my house...my 2.5 year old DD has to watch it at least once a day. I could probably act it out verbatim.

You are amazing, soaked, but still did RnR and TOT. I cannot even do them dry.. I am enjoying your trip reports, you got a lot accomplished...and a banana split at Prime Time, good for you..

Dh and I rode TOT alone on the night that the DISCONers had it all to themselves for 2 hours. It was fun.
