Hello!

DH and I rented points to stay at BWV 9/20-9/27. My parents decided that they wanted to go for a few days as well, so they rented points and have a studio from 9/21-9/25. A few weeks ago my sister decided that she wanted to come with us, which is great, but now I have a few questions.

She is going to be staying with my parents 9/21-9/25 and then with DH and I the last 2 nights. I told my parents that they need to contact the person they rented from and have her added to the room, and I will need to do that as well, correct? Will she be able to use the Magical Express? How would that work since she's staying in 2 different rooms?

Thank you for any help.

the easiest way would be to put her on only your reservation for the length of her stay. you & your parents certainly can add her to the rooms as you explained (actually, the DVC owners would, depending upon staying within occupancy limits, of course), but it would be more complicated & require a bit more work ~ so, why bother?:confused3
the person your are renting from can set up ME for her. btw, if you opted for the DDP she will need it for the same length of stay as the other room occupants.

hth:)

six little, tiny, itty-bitty days to "surprise my DB & nephews" trip :ssst:

I agree - the easiest way to be able to use DME in this situation would be to add her to your reservation. The member you rented from will need her flight number and arrival date.

As mentioned, if DDP is involved she would also have to be added to your reservation for the entire length of stay.

If she wants a room key for your parents villa then she will also need to be added to that reservation.

Great, thank you for your help. So it won't be a problem to arrange ME for her even though she arrives a day after us?

One more question I just thought of. I live in Colorado, but my sister lives in Boston. Will the ME be able to ship our luggage tags to 2 different locations?

Yes, as long as she is one the reservation (they will also require her address), DME may be set up even for different arrival dates. The luggage tags will be sent to her address.

Enjoy! :)

Is this new? Is this why they need everyones address? :confused3 If so, what a wonderful improvement! :thumbsup2

I only ask because in 2005 we went with my sister and her family, all staying on our points at OKW. We were coming from Virgina and they we arriving from Texas. We were arriving on seperate days but all leaving at the same time. For that trip, I was sent all of the ME tags and then had to send them on to my sister myself.

Both DVC and CRO now require all the info on all people staying in the room. I am not sure when it changed but when I booked a room at Pop for our late arrival night (why spend points for another night when we arrive after midnight) I needed the full address of my sister or they wouldn't let me book the room.
