On a 7 day in September with DW and our windows opens this coming weekend. Any advise on how to have best success booking. Want to do Palo and Remy brunch, a few other things.

Decide on your idea of priorities for the various activities first. Then proceed with check in based on that.

If Palo and Remy brunch are first on your list, try to have a first choice day and second choice day ahead of time, for quicker navigation and go for those first thing.

If you are wanting to book excursions that tend to sell out (not sure what cruise you are on) like private charters or helicopter tours in Alaska, you may want to make that your first pick instead.

Tastings are also pretty popular and often sell out.

If you have any kind folks in your cruise meet group that are a higher castaway club level than you, they may be willing to log in and have a look at what activities are still available and at what times. This can help make things a little easier.

Personally I tend to make a list on a piece of paper in order or importance, listing what day they are on and when my window opens I just go down the list in order. I always have a back up plan available too in case something I wanted wasn’t available.

Lastly it’s not uncommon for the website to give people troubles. If it happens keep trying!

Get on as soon as it opens up. I think it’s midnight est. I’m platinum and I wanted palo brunch for my upcoming cruise that has 5 sea days and I couldn’t get the day I wanted for palo brunch. Still got in but on a different day. I had to wake up early for work so didn’t want to stay up till midnight. Usually set the alarm at 4:36 that day I had it set for 4:30 to book some things. So four and a half hours after booking opened up for platinum that had 5 sea days I couldn’t get the day I wanted.

Remember if you cannot book online try first thing when you get on the ship.

You can sign in earlier in the evening (7 or 8 pm eastern time) and enter a bit of your registration information. You will not be able to select activities until midnight. As others have said, prioritize what you want to do and when. If you are unable to get a reservation online, check the Navigator you receive when you check in at the port. There will be information regarding where to go and when to make reservations for brunch, dinner and tastings. You may want to review some of the first day Navigators posted online to see where the information is located.

We have been successful getting reservations for Palo brunch and some tasting seminars both online and when we boarded the ship. After our first Palo brunch, we made a dinner reservation, for later in the cruise, as we were leaving Palo.

Good luck!
