My Silly hubby!

My silly husband...he shocked me a little last night because for months now we've been trying to plan our next vacation, which will be in mid-May once school is out for the summer. We didn't know where to go, what to do- so we've been doing research. We've gone to Disney every year for several years now and he said that this was our year to not go- he wanted to do something different and he was quite firm about it...we were going to find an all-incusive or something. Last night he said "oh, did you see the good deal Disney has? I think it would be awesome to get the $500 (we would stay at a moderate) and we have A LOT of disney dollars (from our visa)..." After I saw that he was totally excited (we're Disney addicts!!!) I got online this morning first thing...after all, who am I to say NO to a Disney vacation???? That would be foolish of me! We all LOVE DISNEY!!! My head spins with excitement, my mouth salivates with dreams of school bread, dole whip and anything else that I can eat while I'm there, the kid comes out of me and wants to scream...

Online, i found a great deal on the Disney site...AND our flights would be FREE with all of our frequent flier miles we have. AND mid-May shouldn't be too busy yet, since most schools don't get done until the end of may beg. of June, Right?

Congratulations on your booking. Have you ever gone in Mid-May? We just had some friends of ours yesterday over for dinner and my Girlfriend's DH is not that into Disney and has never expressed any interest in going (eventhough my girlfriend is dying to take her two kids). Well, since my family are Disney addicts, my DH started telling him how wonderful Disney is and how my DH and him could do other non park things while my girlfriend and I and the kids can go off to the parks. Well, before I know it, we were showing him all of the different resorts via one of our planning videos that I just so have laying around, and now we are planning on a May 2011 trip with our friends ....I say he is a silly man too You gotta love him though

Congrats! We went last year on May 10 - 17 and it was great - not too hot, not too bad crowds!

Yeah, I'm excited! We haven't booked it yet, but we've been looking at packages. There are two that we've saved on my Disney account- we're going to sit down this weekend and decide between the two.

So, May isn't that bad? I didn't really know if it would be or not. I'm excited about the good May weather there. I did like to hear that the crowd sizes aren't bad. I was kind of wondering. I've heard that they were good until the beg. of June...but I didn't know for sure, because my neighbor told me and she's not always reliable...
