My signature is gone! Where is it?

It was there yesterday. Today I post something its gone.

Why? Nothing not that red X nothing, its just not there.

I didn't do anything, yesterday there, today gone. I went to check my user CP to see if it was still there and it is, its just not showing up when I post.

I've had this problem with not being able to see pictures others post. I just get a little red "x" in a box. Then later on I'll sign on (or sign on from home) and the picture is there. Hope your signature is back soon.

Was your image linked to a site that you don't manage the pictures (ie. third party site and you took an image?). It could be the owner of the image (site you are linking to) could be blocking your linking or created a blank/small image.

Or the original file owner deleted it.

If it is your image, saved to your computer, did someone delete the file?

If the file was deleted, I would think the "red x" would appear and not sure how you'd link to a file on your desktop as others wouldn't be able to call it because they wouldn't have access to the path.

I meant someone in the OPs house with access to their computer. I forgot about the red x part showing up when you delete.

I still am confused. If in your signature you link a file from your PC, it won't show up to anyone but you when you post because other posters won't have access to see the linked file. To other users it would appear like the file is missing (broken link) regardless of if the file is on your PC or not.

Can you see other people's signatures? If you have somehow clicked the "show signatures" off in your User CP (Edit Options) you won't see your signature or anyone else's.

There is also a box under where you post that says "show your signature" -- be sure that is checked.

Also, check and see if you might have edited your signature and there is a whole lot of space before whatever belongs there shows up. It could be getting cut off by the board software.

You don't have any signature showing in your profile so it would appear that it has been deleted somehow or it being cut off before anything shows.
