:thumbsup2 Looking great --love the colors you choose.
especially like the first plane ride one.
Congrats. Have a great trip.

Those look awesome. My shirts arrived today, but I had trouble printing the image on the transfer paper. Guess that's what I get for trying to do them at work. I'm working on my luggage tags right now.

Those look great!

I was looking for an Image for my girls because it will be their first trip to the World and also their first plane ride.

Can you tell me who disSigned them for you?

Thanks
Sue

Marilyn,

They turned out great! :thumbsup2 It is fun isn't it? Thank you so much for sharing the pictures. It is such an encouragement to me when people post photos. I appreciate you taking the time to figure out how to post as a way of thanking us...(and of showing off your great tshirts...);) .

Remind me again when you are going??

Those look great!

Do you remember who did the green swirly looking design? I haven't seen that one before.

Marilyn,
Thank you very much for posting the pictures. It is always great to see our designs in action!

They turned out fantastic - Have a great trip!

I am so sorry to say that I don't remember who did the first plane ride design. For all of my planning, I failed to write down who did what design. I do know tho that wickedmom75 did the swirly one..only because I had to search and search for her and I did find the scrap paper with info. Thanks for the compliments, I couldn't have done them without of you awesome and dedicated designers..You are all part of my magical trip come August 10:) In case you wonder, it's a mere 164 days away:) I will post pictures of the kids in the shirts when we get back...

The airplane design was mine.

Since I am unable to post the design, I give anyone permission to post theirs if they have a generic one.

Your shirts are great.

I just started printing my designs and making shirts. I have a question - How did you get your name (the yellow shirt) on the shirt without the white of the transfer paper between the letters? I used dark transfer for a red shirt.

noahdove is there any way that you could post a picture of the plane?? We are going to Disney in the summer and it is my DS5's first plane ride and I would love to make him a shirt with that picture. Thank you

For the name loveladyntramp, I cut the letters out..some say I was nuts, but I did it anyway:) For the first plane ride, I only have the one that has Peyton's name on it...sorry...

noahdove - your shirts are awesome! I have a question about transfer paper. Amy did some terrific designs for me. I ordered and received the t-shirts (Jiffyshirts) and they are great. Someone had suggested using Avery transfer paper. I'm having a hard time finding it. Now, I've checked Joann's A.C. Moore and Michael's and none list dark transfer paper and none have Avery. I was wondering where I can pick up dark transfer paper and does it make a difference if it's not Avery. I'll need to pick it up rather than order on line because the time is getting short. Thanks so much.

I haven't bought any yet, but I heard someone mention they bought the Avery paper at Walmart and I think someone mentioned Target also. I will be out looking for some today... I will let you know if I find any and where.

Good luck!!

Stephanie

Thanks Stephanie
I checked the Walmart and Target sites and didn't see Avery, but I'm going to go back and look under Avery specifically. Maybe they don't have Avery on line, but do in the stores. I hope I can find them. Again, thank you.

O.K. - I'm going to look at Target, Walmart and Staples. Thank you everyone. It sounds like Avery truly is the only way to go. Now, do you have any tips about what not to do and to do in regard to when I do the actual transfers. I know to try it on a practice t-shirt first, but any hints on the amount of time to keep the iron on, etc.
Thanks so much.

I don't have to have my iron really hot .....something like polyester setting. If my iron is too hot, the color will look really splotchy.
