Congrats, AWM!!! I'm aiming for 2000--only 29 more to go!! We went to Panera tonight for DH's birthday! It was really good--this weekend we get to do the 3 birthday parties. . .one with KAMommy & crew (her DD's birthday is next weekend, so we're doing a combo b-day), one with the inlaws, and one with my family. No cooking this weekend!! Not that I do any of it--DH does all of the cooking! (If you make it smaller, the admission doesn't count as much!!)

Items w/ plugs for gifts.. Nope, DH know the cord would be used for another purpose around here!! No, he has only gotten me those items if I asked for them. otherwise I buy them on my own! I can't even buy him tools w/ cords because he is so darn picky about them!!

I got flowers the other day just because.. My first question was.. what did you agree to that you shouldn't have? He just got it because!!! I get alot of mushy emails! LOL

Dinner tonight.. Little guys had McD's.. DD, DH and I had the nutritious SUBWAY sandwiches..
Okay, off to check a few more things.. since DD has 3 tests tomorrow it's a study night session and DH is itching to get to my computer.. This man is really going to have to get me a computer all my own!!!

My DH got me a laptop for xmas before our cruise...it was THE BEST gift, and I asked for it, but never thought he would get it... What fun to write trip reports from the comfort of a lounge chair at the adult pool, then send it to the DIS...

Yes but 1) she asked and 2) technically it really only needs a plug when you're not using it or you used it too much!!!

Your dinners sounded good. I made dinner for 75 at the church tonight. Chicken Pot Pie, Salad, and make your own Sundaes for dessert.

On gifts- I am the one who wants practical gifts DH doesn't ever buy me practical things unless I really beg for them. His feeling is practical things should come out of the household budget not my gifts.

We have a church dinner every week and I was in charge tonight. There is a group of us that do the dinner each week but 1 person is in charge of making sure we have everything we need including recipes, tonight it was me. I love to cook but find it somewhat of a waste for just DH and I.

Okay, I have to fess up. I don't mind the things with plugs. So even though I probably would have gotten all those things anyway, he likes to take credit for holiday gift giving. Weird, I know. For Mother's Day I get to the nursery and get things for yard.

But ask me what I get him for holidays. Yup Nothing. I don't work, so I don't get him anything. So I really can't complain to much about practical.

Well, with me.. it will be used to much!!!!

I mean he cramps into my DIS time in the evening when the kids go to bed.. He snags the computer & I sit...than I start designing layouts! So, guess what I'm doing today... Taking my layouts and writing journal entries while they are fresh on my mind so I can REALLY start these books that are sooooo far behind!!
