My SB Room Photos

What a great room!!!! Thanks for sharing. I've been looking for tables to replace the one that my husband put his knee on as he was getting into the ceiling in my room in the basement and broke the table. Well it's doable for now but I need a new table and I have not been able to find anything I'm happy with. I may have to go check out Ikea and look for those tables and that bookcase - I love that!!!!!

And I was just going to ask, in the first picture I saw the paper storage, about where you got that thing to store your 12 X 12 papers and then I scroll down and you explained it. I thought it was a new find that would work awesome!!!! Oh well, I'll find one :)

What an awesome room!!!! Loved that you explained your pictures...very informative and inspiring.

ETA: I've been looking around your website - lots of great stuff! Just curious, how does one go about setting up their own site? One where you own the domain - not hosted by Tripod or other service. And how much does it cost (if you don't mind sharing).

Cass, great job on the organization of the room. You can tell it was very well thought out. It reminded me of the "after" shots of one of those decorating/organization shows (very professional). I love the cube bookshelf; very neat idea for dividing the room and keeping your stuff from just muddling all together. Thanks for sharing your room.

Wow, thank you all for the very kind words! There's still a few things I want to add but it's not in my budget right now. I need two more drawer storage units for sure! I really am enjoying my space though, I know that some of you only have a "closet floor" (you poor girl!) and just a corner in the basement, so I know just how very lucky I am!

Sandy22,

I have two sites, the one I pay for is http://new.dotcanada.com/ and I pay about $14 CDN per month and then you have to register your domain name (cassworld.ca) every year, umm I think it's like $30 US per year (don't quote me on that since hubby always pays it for me with his domain too).

My other site is bartered for with a company that hubby and I actually met through. Back then they only operated a BBS (kinda like a local chat line, this is BEFORE they had online chat groups) and we met through that and got to know the owners. They soon followed by providing internet service and in return for a free site, hubby (a part time DJ) would do a free dance every year for them. Now we have two sites and he does 2 free dances a year in return, we just need to keep our domain registered.

I think you can find cheaper online hosting for about $6-7 US if you don't need a whole lot of space. I have over 100 MB just in photos on Cass World and then I put up a whole bunch more on my Epson site, so I need a lot of space!

My other site is currently being used for a business that I started that I now don't wish to pursue. So after my October WDW trip, I am going to redesign Cass World and see if I can use that space since I have 1 GB of space there, cus I really want to redo my cassworld.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me!

Congrats on your new house! and your room is great! I love the shelves with the baskets! so glad you have you back and posting! you are always an inspiration.

Thanks for the link Timon - I'm going to look into setting up my own site.

Thanks for sharing! :) I love seeing other people's rooms and how they set them up. What is the height of that room divider from Ikea?? Right now I am using bookcases but I wonder if something like that would be better? Does it have a back or is it open? I just moved my craft supplies into a smaller room (less wall space) so I need to do some reorganizing to make sure I make every square inch count. I share the room with my (messy) 6 year old daughter (she has her own desk and supplies) and my 10 year old son often comes in to create too.

I also love your style of scrapbooking - very "clean" and very enjoyable to view. :)

And congratulations about your digital camera! I have a feeling DH is planning on getting me one soon as I have hinted for a while (our last trip to WDW last week my current camera kept dying on me...argh!) and he has been asking a lot of questions about what I want. I would like the new Rebel as I have the SLR Rebel and I heard they can use the same lenses...??

And on a side note if you are still reading Splash...I am also nosey ( :) ) about when people are building homes so I checked your site...you won't be far from here! Two good scrapbooking stores not too far from the area!)

wow I love your scrapping room, I am so jealous! lol We're in an apartment right now so my scrapping space is the kitchen table, hey whatever works right? I am ultra-organized though so I am loving seeing your organized space. yes I have issues! :) Can I ask what kind of camera you used to take the pics, they are so crisp and clear!

Thanks again for showing us!

Tricia,

The photos were taken with my brand new Canon Digital Rebel XT. It's an amazing camera that I just love! I can't wait to take it on vacation in October!!!

Loved the room!!! Did you just finish setting up and that's why it looks so incredibly organized and neat??? Please post some pics of when you are in the middle of a project and embellishments are flying everywhere. (Just to make me feel a bit better about my messy space!)

Thanks for sharing!

Pammy jo,

LOL :rotfl: Umm well, yeah, when I am scrapping it's a little messier of course! But when I am done I put it all away, I am anal that way!

:cool1:

That room is like a "Clean Sweep" after room! (Do you watch that show in Canada?) Amazingly organized! Good job!
