I'm so sorry that happened to you.

We had just the opposite experience a few months back. On our arrival day last March, we got there quite early in the morning. We weren't expecting our rooms at ASMo to be ready but we wanted to go ahead & do early check in so we could head to the parks. I tried a few times in late afternoon to call to get our room assignments but could never get through. No big deal since I knew I could find out at the front desk when we returned from the parks.
I think it was about 10:00 when we got back to ASMo and since it had been a long day we were quite tired. Luckily, there was no wait time at the front desk so we were able to get our room assignments quickly. A CM at the door noticed us as we were looking for a luggage cart & he offered to unload our van and take the luggage to our rooms. There were 5 adults in our party and we each had several bags so, since we were tired, we accepted his offer. He unloaded at the lobby front door & pushed the cart to our rooms which were in the Toy Story building.
By the time we drove around to the closest parking to our rooms & walked up, the CM was already there. We told him to just unload everything in one room (we had 3) & we would take it from there but he very graciously said it would be no trouble to go to all 3 rooms. I then offered him a tip ($1/ bag &, as I said, there were several bags) & he said, "You don't have to tip me." I insisted he take the tip and he said, "Are you sure?" I told him I was absolutely sure. It was worth it to not have to fool with our luggage since we were all so tired. I had to practically force him to take it. He thanked me & kept asking if there was anything else he could do. He was great!
As a sidenote...I don't know if we were just lucky but every CM we had contact with at ASMo had a wonderful attitude and was very helpful and we made sure to express our thanks to them. They certainly helped us have a magical time...thank you again, CM's...you are much appreciated!
