Poor little guy. He's six months old and loves his food. He gets so excited when he hears it going in the bowl that his whole body wags. This morning he would not eat. He went outside and drank some water and then came inside and started gagging. I put him back outside and he threw up all the water that he had drank. I checked his crate and there were some wet spots in there as well, so he must have gotten sick during the night or this morning and Dh didn't notice when he let him out of the crate.
I'm worried about him, but not super worried. He only skipped one meal. My daughter thinks I should give him pumpkin, but he doesn't have diarrhea that I know of anyway. Is there anything else I could give him? Should I just wait it out until later and see how he is?
Thank God I have a short work day today. I'll only be gone a couple of hours and then I'll be back home to check on him. Right now he's snuggled up in his crate under a couple of towels - it's raining here and he got a little wet outside.
He looks so sad. :sad1:

Do you think he ate something he shouldn't have? Does he chew on rope toys or plastic toys? Sometimes they chew those & they get caught in their intestines. Hope the poor little guy is better soon!

At 6 months, a trip to the vet is in order. Especially if he can't even keep down water. Puppies can become dehydrated very quickly and the vet can administer fluids.

ditto

Is he current on all his vaccinations? Even if he is, Parvo is a possibility, since no vaccine is 100% effective.
