My Puppy is Dying......

I understand entirely. We went through something along those lines with our 4 month old kitten Sage. :(

I'm so sorry and wish I could help ease the difficulty. I'll pray for a miracle, and for strength.

I am so sorry to hear of Tilly's illness. I can imagine how difficult this must be for you, but be assured that you are giving her what she needs most: all your love. She's very lucky to be spending her life with you, and I bet you feel the same in return.:D My prayers for Tilly's health and for your strength...:hug: :hug: :hug:

I am so sorry for you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
If you got Tillie from a breeder, PLEASE let the breeder know about Tillie's condition as this may effect her breeding program. I know it is hard for you, but I am sure you don't want any other pups to suffer the same way.

Oh, there is nothing worse than having a young pet with a terminal illness. I second the poster who said to tell the breeder, and follow up on it. You might find some comfort in possibly preventing other families and puppies from having to go through this. Stay strong; I feel for you.

I'm so sorry! What a sad time for you! I feel your pain. I have a 12 year old golden that we are taking it one day at a time with. It's so hard!:( Your puppy is so lucky to have you!!

I am so sorry to hear about your puppy. I lost my puppy last August just a wek after his first birthday. He started having problems with his back legs and then came down a high fever that he was put on steroids for the fever and his lymph glands were all swollen, turns out he had an auto immune disease and there was nothing we or the vet could do. I know losing a furbaby is so hard because there are part of you family, but we buried him in the backyard and I planted Tulips on his grave and put a white picket fence around it.

I am so sorry. We lost one of our 2 cats the day before Thanksgiving.

Keep her happy and show her a lot of love. She will tell you when it is time, even if you are not ready. I certainly wasn't.

I am so sorry about your puppy. It must be a difficult time for you and your family. I hope and pray that your pup stays comfortable for a long time. Take care.

My tears are with you. It's hard enough when you have an older animal that you are losing. But at least you try to justify it by saying they had a long and good life. Give your fur baby the best life you can. Hugs for you and your family

I am so sorry about the sad situation that you are in. I am sending huge hugs because I know very well how painful a time you are going through. We had to put our 7 year old Golden Retriever to sleep due to illness this past summer and it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. They are not just pets they are family!

Please take care and know that your Dis family is thinking of you.

:worried: So sorry to hear about your sick puppy. No one understands losing a pet like those who have been thru the loss, they are like fur children to us. Take care!

I'm so sorry :hug:

I know how it is to have a terminally ill pet. I just had to have my precious cat put to sleep the week before Christmas. She would have been 10 years old this spring, so should have still had several good years left. But she had cancer and it was in her spine, she was losing all feeling in her back side (leaking urine constantly, couldn't hold her tail up and was beginning to have trouble with her back legs) so rather than bring her home and just have to take her back soon I just let them put her to sleep then. It had only been one week from her acting fine and normal to that point, so it progressed very rapidly and I knew she wouldn't have much more time anyway. It was a very HARD decision and I cried buckets and buckets for a few days, and even still occasionally cry (like last night) because I just miss her so much, she was the best cat I ever had, so loving and affectionate and had so many little "quirky things" she would do, and I think about those quite often. :( It's so hard to lose a furry member of the family, my heart goes out to you....

I'm so sorry. As the "mom" of two bassets I really sympathize with you. (((((((HUGS)))))

I'm so very sorry to hear of your fur-baby's illness. Poor pup. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. It's always so hard to watch our pet's sicken. {{{{{{{big hugs}}}}}
