DH-35, loves disney but hates theme parks
DD-12 but so to be 13 on mother's day, do i need to say more
DS-11 in one week, loves roller coasters and is a little daredevil
in this post i will call the two of them my monsters and brats, but it is all out of love. And I must add here that DD is two inches taller than me and DS is as tall as me.

Ok, time for the back drop.

April 2-6, 2002
FIL, MIL, DH, Me, DD, DS, SIL, her BF, and her DD&DS, stepSIL, her DH, and Her 2DS and DD all met up in NC for our first trip to WDW. We Left here on the 2nd and got to Kissimee on the 3rd in the afternoon. Found the nice four bedroom house that FIL rented for us, unpacked and visited and kids played in the screened in pool.
The next morning we all pile in to the two vechiles and head to .............
the Magic Kingdom.
We enter and watch the welcome/good morning show. And then we head down to castle and get pictures of the kids with the statue and castle behind them. Then the rides. As i said up above DS love his coasters and this is where he got it from here. After a day of riding the rides it is time to see the Mouse himself. We head to Toontown. See the cute little houses of Mickey and Minnie and do the Judges's Tent and the Hall of Fame it is time to go.
So as we are leaving the Castle is changing colors and as we hit Main Street the Fireworks are going off. And when we are on the ferry we see the water
show.

The next morning we go over to the Animal Kingdom. We had a ball over in this park, for some reason it was not packed at all hardly anyone was there.
We went to the Tough to be a Bug , loved it. Then moved to Dinoland, where the younger kids played in the doneyard, burying their oldest cousin.( 5 to 1)
Then is was to Africa. Where we learn some facts from school and rode the safari and walked the forest trail. And that my friends was our first trip to the world. Oh, yes before I forget, with this many poeple there was not one fight between the cousins or the adults about what we were going to do at the parks and what parks to go and see.
:goodvibes

Stay tuned for our next disney experience........the Disney 3 day Cruise.

our Disney Cruise was the same group as before but add three more to the family and six family friends. The three family members are StepBIL and his to cute little boys.

date June 16-19, 2005; father's day weekend

Drive down to Cocoa beach, stay at a very nice motel across from the beach itself. Next morning eat and go to the port and check in and sign the kids up for the clubs.

we get on board, eat lunch, meet Max, Goofy's son as we are eating. He picks on StepSIL and StepBIL. Go outside and wave good-bye to everyone on the dock. Then head down to the room and let kids change into swimsuits and head up to Mickey's pool. The kids loved the slide. Time for drill and then dinner and the sailaway party. It got rained out so everyone heads to the lobby for the party.

Next morning we are in Nassau, we had booked the dolphin excurssion for the day along with SIL and DH and two kids. My brats won't do anything without these two. The DD's are four months apart in age and the DS are the same.
So off we go on a ferry to the Blue Lagoon. What fun we had there. That night was the pirates night and the fireworks. We (me and Ds) dress like pirates the only ones in our group. Oh well. Did pass out Eye patches to nephies and neice. Ate dinner and saw one of the live showes. before the fireworks.

the next morning was Castaway Cay. The island was very picture perfect.
We snorkled in the Lagoon area. Then it rain on us for 30 to 45 mins. then the sun came out again. We had a most enjoyable trip on our cruise. Husband even said that if we were to go on another cruise it would be hands down a Disney one.

So now on to our trip to WDW for June 18-22 of this year.

ok our june 18-22, 2007 trip to WDW, began last year when my grandmother ask if we were coming back down to Louisiana to see her in the summer and my DH says no we are going to WDW. That floored me and got the kids excited. My mother chirps in let me know when you go I might come too.
Let say right here that I see my family every two years. DH doesn't like to see
my family, but loves my grandmother though.

I ask if his father was planning the trip. DH replied no this is for the four of us.
But if you want anyone to come and join us tell that we will be staying at one of the Disney resorts and that we will doing our thing and that if we see them great if not ........

So we looked at the resorts and decided that we liked the AKL and booked our trip. Then we found out that my grandmother had cancer, and that she may not make it through the summer. Well she she didn't even make it through the month. She just gave up and wanted to be with my grandfather who had passed away three years before.:sad1:

So with that said I started making plans for our trip shortly after her passing to keep my mind off of missing her. DD thinks that I have gone mad because I'm on here when I'm at home and DH isn't online playing runescape. I just tell her that this trip is for Momo and that if she (DD) has a problem with that to take it up with her(Momo). My grandmother told me years ago to enjoy life to it's fullest and I shall. So this is has been my pretrip report.
