My family of 5 (DH, me & 13,11,11yo kids) are going to WDW 11/18 - 11/25. I am going to get the dining plan for all of us. Here is my first thoughts on our dining for the week.

11/18 - arrival day - dinner at Chef Mickey's
11/19 - MK day - dinner at Kona's
11/20 - MGM day - dinner at Mama Melrose w/Fantasmic dinner package
11/21 - MK day - breakfast at Crystal Palace, dinner at HDDR
11/22 - Epoct day - dinner at Le Cellier
11/23 - Thanksgiving - Animal Kingdom day - dinner ?
11/24 - hit the rides we missed day - dinner at Concourse Steakhouse or Coral Reef

Other than the character meals and HDDR, I am goig to pay OOP for the two 11yos to order off the childrens' menu. So I should have enough TS credits for DH, me & 13yo for the other restaurants.

I still need to pick a restaurant for Thanksgiving.

So what do you think? suggestions?

Yum! I vote for Concourse over Coral Reef. Many of your choices we have on our "must-do" list. I've only never eaten at Kona's. We love everything! Maybe for Thanksgiving, somewhere in DTD? :teeth:

Thanksgiving dinner? I vote for San Angel Inn in Epcot. That's where we enjoyed Christmas dinner this year and it was great. Nice atmosphere and the food was wonderful! One of the best meals we've ever had at WDW was at Wolfgang Puck in DTD!!!

Can't comment on Concourse Steakhouse or Coral Reef, never been there but everything else on your list sounds great. For thanksgiving, since you will be close by, how about Jiko or Boma at the AKL.

We are going in early May and will do Kona, Concourse, Coral Reef and Mama Melrose (great minds!) so I'll review when we come back. We've booked Garden Grill for Epcot one day at lunch as well, although I was torn between Alfredo's and Le Cellier and finally decided the character draw was too much, so GG it is.

Good choices - we love Kona! My pick for Thanksgiving would probably be Liberty Tree Tavern.

Boma's at AK may be good....everything sounds Yummy....
bon apetit.

Looks good to me! For your AK day, maybe try Boma or Jiko over at the AKL... or if you want more of a "traditional" Thanksgiving fare, head over to MK to LTT.

I haven't dined at Concourse or Coral Reef yet, but I decided on Concourse based on the many reviews I read here on the DIS.

I would chose Liberty tree tavern. It is sort of like a Thanksgiving type of dinner and a character meal too. When I last visited it was Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip & Dale, don't know if they changed it or not.

Thanks everyone - I was thinking of LTT for Thanksgiving dinner, but concerned about how crowded MK is going to be that day. I have to give this some more thought... maybe DTD or a Boardwalk restaurant for dinner that night. So many choices!
