Hey everyone I am not home just yet. My family and I left WDW this morning on our way back to Toronto and we are at a Courtyard By Marriott in Dalton, Georgia. Anyway here is my reviews for our Club Level stays at the Boardwalk Inn and Beach Club.

Boardwalk Inn
First things I have to thank JJ, Jackie, Anita, Lorenzo, Linda, Janice, Tiffany, Scott, Pete and Joe for being the best Club Level Cast Members WDW has. They all make us feel right at home and I consider them my family.

We had reserved a Deluxe Room and our request to have it on the fourt floor was meet. We were in room #4225 which was right over the Boardwalk Bakery and had an amazing view.

Check-in was perfect and Pete personally came into our room which is where that process was done.

One thing that we happen to see on a rainy night was Brian the magician that always dresses in purple, coming into the lounge and doing his act up there.

Basically I have come to the conculsion that the Boardwalk Inn is now my favorite WDW Resort.

Beach Club
I am sorry to say that this part of my review will not be a good one so I appologize in advance to any Beach Club fans.

I have to say their Club Level was horrible. Very rude and cold Cast Members at check-in and the ones who work in the lounge watch over everyone until they are ready to clear the plates off the tables.

For example the Cast Member who checked us in saw we had just stayed at the Boardwalk and made a joke that their best quality is they face the Beach Club. I realize he was making a joke but we didn't think it was funny.

It was just a horrible experience that the next day on September 1st we decided to switch back to the Boardwalk Inn, which we did and got to stay in the room we previously had. So it goes without saying we are never again going to stay at the Beach Club.

Next WDW vacation
We were lucky enough to get the 40% Annual Pass rate and reserved the Standard Club Level Room at the Boardwalk Inn from December 8th - December 22nd, 2011.

thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed the boardwalk. we are thinking of staying there next trip.

There was recently an unfavorable Yacht Club CL review on here, too. I guess they don't feel they need to work as hard, since everyone says how great the pool is, close to Epcot, etc. etc. Getting a little "stuck up" I guess.

Now, the real question is - how do you change your screen name LOL :rotfl:

We have stayed Yacht Club and Boardwalk Villas and think the Boardwalk is awesome. We now alternate OKW and BWV on our trips, so next one should be at Boardwalk in June. Can't wait to finally go in the summer so we can spend time on the boardwalk and use the pool.

Other than a joke you took offense too what else was bad. What about the lounge, food offerings and location? Can you give us more details. I have never stayed there, but it is on my short list.

We love the BWI Innkeeper's. Yes I feel the same way you do they are like family:goodvibes I often call them to tell them about things they have asked while we are there ( I will be a grandmother soon) So I had to share my news with my friends at the BWI :) They are a great group of people & they prove it is worth every penny you pay to stay club level. MHO :) Glad you had a good time other than for the Beach Club. I never stayed there & never had the desire to stay there. I do like the Yacht Club resort club level. But given the choice it would be the BWI :)

*Gasp*
:goodvibesGreat to hear about your positive feedback on BWI. It's one of the few deluxes we haven't stayed at and I'm watching everyone's experiences closely. Thanks for your post, hope to hear more about your trip!

THUD!! That was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor!

CR!!! You have become a full-fledged member of the BWI fan club!!!

YAY!!!

Glad your trip was great. I miss BWI so much, and because of Mom's condition, I have no idea when I can return.

But--I can still be happy that you had such a wonderful time there.

It was the snobby attitude of the CL Cast Members at the check-in desk and the fact we felt like we were being watched by the ones who clear the dishes off the tables inside the lounge. Besides that when my Mom asked if they had any Sprite Zero they looked like it was such a hard thing to get up and look in their storage room. Finally when we walked into the lounge during our 24 hours there not once did they say hello.

I would say I became a full-fledged member along time ago.

Can't wait for our trip. We'll be staying in a club level deluxe room in 39 days! One question though, why would you request a room on the 3rd floor? Isn't the Innkeepers on the 4th floor? Any particular reason?

Really looking forward to the extra space in the deluxe room... :cool1:

The only difference is the Deluxe Rooms on the 3rd floor have bigger balconies.

One thing I forgot to mention about the Beach Club CL lounge is this. At 5:00 PM they open the doors and it's almost like when people run to Toy Story Mania for Fast Passes at rope drop. Basically people were running to the food offerings like they were all going to be taken away in 5 minutes.

Used to work at BW and I definitely agree, it's a family there! They really bend over backwards to please the guests. The CL cast would have such amazing stories of what they "got to do" for the guests- it was never a pain for them to go above and beyond, they loved doing it!

The only thing I noticed was that you wrote you were in 4225, but on the 3rd floor, so it'd be 3225 right? Just in case others posters here want to request that room.

I worked for a little bit at Beach Club and yeah.. got that vibe too. Glad you :lovestruc boardwalk as much as I do. It's a special place.

Glad you had such a great time at BWI, we are staying there in a few weeks and I am so excited! Sorry you didn't enjoy the BC as much, but at least you got to move back to BWI for the rest of the trip.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't see anything so "negative" about the Beach Club CL.

The staff didn't want to find Sprite Zero? They didn't smile? Oh, the horrors!

Just curious--were you scheduled to spend only one night at the Beach Club all along? Or did you go back to the Boardwalk because they didn't smile at the BC?

Why do you think they were watching you? That's odd, especially since you stated that at 5 p.m. it was a HERD of people coming into the lounge!! WOW! We stayed at the Yacht Club and thought that was awesome. Maybe you can try the Yacht Club next time. It's a more adult resort if you ask me...

I can not afford to stay club level anywhere, but why do people have to be so rude. CR for life just let us know what he did not like about BC. Not everyone likes the same things. If I paid for Club level anywhere, I would expect to receive quality service and be pampered by the staff. People, quit being so mean.:confused3

I totally AGREE! You're paying a lot of money for that type of service. I'm just confused why these people were watching CR Resort For Life? Very odd. It would make me feel uncomfortable. I would like to hear more details why the OP did not like this resort. The input is always good to know....

Glad you had a good trip, CR! I'm jealous, you and your family get to WDW so often and for such long trips :goodvibes sound lovely!

I agree with you, My son and I tried BC CL in Feb and we didn't get the same "I'm home" vibe as we have had at the AKL...we even briefly thought of moving over to AKL CL on our 2 day there, but decided to stick it out....realized it is not the resort for us. Sad to hear of your negative experience there, but happy to hear all was not lost and you could finish out your vacay at BWI. I would love to try BWI one day, perhaps hubby and I will get to try it for our 2016 trip for our 25 anniversary :lovestruc

I managed to get in on the Canadian free dining deal, and my next proposed trip is booked for Sept 29 to Oct 04 and planning on trying POLY club level....hoping we enjoy that resort, location and ambience :goodvibes

I have never been during F and W and am looking forward to experiencing MNSSHP too ....then Oct 4-7 we will head over to Universal and HRH CL for a few days of WWoHP :)
I was interested in knowing how you enjoyed your trip, and have missed you on the boards..,thanks for sharing :flower3:

I actually made a mistake and meant to say our room was on the 4th floor, so I edited my previous reply.
