My poor dd locked us out of my truck tonight

Mommy wasn't too happy about that. I imagined us freezing to death in the cold waiting for someone to help us out. Then I remembered we could go in the convenience store that was 2 feet behind me. I get paranoid sometimes. Atleast I know the locking keys in the vehicle thing is hereditary now.

Yikes! As cold as it is here, that would not be a good thing! It is amazing how fast something like that can happen. Go make yourself a nice hot chocolate!

JTB, no we're home. If I could dis from the store, I'd go to the store more often.

Laurie, it took about 15 minutes for my SO to come unlock the truck for us. Unfortunately there was a policeman in the store when we were there. My dd is terrified of policemen. LOL! I can just imagine the thoughts going through her head.

Pooh, the store was nice and warm. So was my temper. Luckily I learned how to count to 1000 a long time ago.

LOL, Jason. I had just jokingly told her at Walmart I was going to ask the nice policeman at the door if she could ride in the backseat. I'm thinking she thought that was definately going to happen after she locked the keys (and my phone) in the truck. The cop reminded me of Barney Fife, only skinnier.

Laurie, we made it back, but it was a quiet ride home. I'll be checking for my keys constantly for the next 10 months or so now!

This happened to DH and I quite a few times. Needless to say we now have 4 sets of keys for all the cars.

Misty, I used to have to keep a spare key in my wallet, but after my purse got stolen (along with my wallet), I've stopped doing that.
