My Points Shopping ? please....?

I always order my ink through office depot on My Points and thought I would get a head start on my school supply shopping PLUS get over the 1500 points needed towards my next reward (webcertificate that I want to use this August in Disney).

I ordered the required over $50 amount in order to be eligible for the 500 points but one of the items is on back order and my account at My Points is only showing a purchase of $44. I need the over $50 to get the 500 points!!

Do you think that once the back order is filled My Points will correct this? Or am I going to have a hassle (and possible not get them in time).

Hmm. I've never had to deal with a backorder except with QVC. With my QVC waitlist order My Points had the points pending for 30 days and then when the waitlist order wasn't filled in 30 days they took the points from me. The item eventually shipped. I just emailed them and they gave me credit.

I'd email My Points and explain what happened.
