My points redemption issue

I cashed in the week of 9/14 for 2 webbies (3500 and 1500) and the points have been deducted from my account however I have not received an email yet with the authorization code. Anyone else have similar problems? I have an email into mypoints already.

It can take up to a week or more after your points are deducted from your account to receive your webbies. Mypoints does them in batches so the timeframe for receiving them varies from one redemption to the next.

I cashed out three times in September. Once in the beginning, and twice after that. The first one was credited within a week and a half, but the other two haven't shown up yet. I am waiting because they're my final push for our 10/30 trip.

Has it changed from email to regular mail?

On the last one I got, when the email finally did come, it was worded as if it was my second notice. It said something like, "do you still want your webcertificate. you have yet to redeem it." But that was the first email I had received??? So if you have yahoo or a bulk mail folder, check it out. Maybe mine got put in there for some reason?

Keke, mine did that too - but I don't have a thing that gets rid of spam, so who knows why I didn't get it.
You can check the status of your webbie order by going into account statement, month and it should show status and if "shipped". It really doesn't help figure out when you're gonna get it though. Sorry....

Mypoints has indicated via email that they are having trouble with webbie redemption right now and to wait one more week before contacting them again - it did take 3 emails on my part to mypoints to get a response.

I have cashed out on Sep 14 and have not recieved my e-mail yet. I will have enough point to cash out again tomorrow. Maybe we will get lucky and they both show up in my account before my Oct 30 trip.
P.S. it looks like many of us will be there for Halloween

I have never cashed out for Webbies, do you get the plastic card or just the online? I shop a lot online, and I hate having to spend money for them to send me a plastic card, but if I had it on a card, I would be able to tuck it away.

I like to have a contest with my self to see how long I can go before I cash out. I'm not even in the temopted stage yet, but all you guys talking about Webbies is getting me closer.

I went back and got my second webbie tonight, so both of mine have arrived. I've already used them at the Disney Store online.

I cashed out on 9/10 and got my webbie today. Hopefully, you will either have gotten it today or sometime this week. I know when I checked my e-mail this morning it wasn't there but, it showed up this afternoon. Hope you have a great trip!

I cashed in MyPoints on Sept 22 and got mine today (10/6) too. I plan to print out the info and take it to the Disney Store to convert to Disney Dollars. It doesn't pay to spend the $7 to get a plastic card. You can also apply the $ to your room reservations.

Who knew? I have to hang out on this board more often. Disn'ey dollars is the best idea yet, I have a bunch of them, I used to think I should get them every year, but now it is an excellent way to have spending $. Being unemployed, I need every trick I can get.

Well I went ahead and got the plastic card. I was cashing out for $75 in webbies the first time, and didn't want to worry about a hassle with the paper copy of my account number when trying to buy DD. Since they do charge fees if your account isn't used within a certain amount of time, I waited until it was closer to our trip to cash out again. I cashed out this past Saturday, so I'm waiting for my next $50. I'll put that on my plastic card and either use it towards paying for the hotels we stay at on our way down to WDW or for "presents" for myself from WDW. (I also have a $50 AMEX gift cheque from the Pontiac testdrive to use towards the hotels.)
