I used to use ebates all the time, at least I got back a little over 68 dollars. But then I stopped, don't know why. I have also amassed enough mypoints to cash in for 250 wothof Macys GC, but since I stopped using Mypoints CC, the points have slowed a lot. I don't know which really pays out better? EBates percent rebate varies, but they pay once a quarter if you have over 5 dollars. My points GCs take a long time to amass, too.

Anyone ever really compared the 2? I do almost all my online buying with my AMEX card in order to get the AMEX Rewards, and to keep the spending in check, LOL, now that I am a "lady of Leisure".

It would make me nervous having all those points still residing at MyPoints. I try to cash out when I get $25.00 gc for wherever because if they went under...YIKES!

I would probably cash out and if you are doing more shopping but not with the MyPoints card, maybe do it at eBates. You might also try QuickRewards. They have become my new favorite shopping site. Credit quickly and pay quickly.

Well, I have never heard of that one, I will have to look into it. When the original My Points card went under, I cashed out, but now I am back up to about 8500 points. I do know that you can't get both, they use the same "pop up reminder" and you have to pick one or the other. I think my biggest dislike at MP is that I don't want any of the GCs they have, and I can'tbe bothered with the web cert. So maybe I will just go back to EBates and take the cash. I'll just add it into the WDW account.

Thanks Adventurekat for the opinion and information.

edited to clarify, I cashed out for the Macy's back when the first my points card went south, I just reread my first post, it looked like I said I still had that much in there.

Maybe I will wait till I have 8500 and then cash out something good.

I just don't know, I an getting a brand new house in 3 months, maybe I should go for something to help decorate.
