We just returned from POFQ July 3-9 and loved it! Our prior stay was at AKL and the kids preferred POFQ because of the pool; we all preferred POFQ's food court. We loved AKL, the Swan (didn't have enough of a Disney feel though), and CBR but found POFQ to be our favorite. We do not consider POFQ anything like a motel because of the atmosphere. We found the CM's to be very helpful at POFQ on several occassions. For instance, the food court CM's went out of their way to show us how to best take advantage of the dining plan. Furthermore, we had pixie dust from our mousekeeper who made towel animals and left a large bag of soaps and shampoo to take home. We highly recommend POFQ. However, we are not gamblers so Los Vegas is very unappealing as a family vacation. Disney, on the other hand, is an ideal family vacation for us.
