So here are my plans as I have them right now (still need the kids to buy-in). Please let me know your thoughts / suggestions. TIA!

6/24 - Arrive a DHS ~2pm. "Attempt" to book some FP+ and do what we can before 50's PrimeTime Cafe at 4pm. Then do whatever has the shortest waits, hoping to get in line for TSMM right before park closing. (The only hideliner we want in this park is TSMM because nobody but me will ride any of the others.)

6/25 - Arrive at MK for RD. Stay until around 2pm, then go back to condo to swim / nap. Return later in the evening for more riding and Dessert Party.

6/26 - Arrive at EP for RD. Stay until it gets too crowded, then back to condo. Possibly return later in the evening or PH to MK.

6/27 - Go to TL for the day. Maybe PH to MK in the evening.

6/28 - Go to IOA for the day.

6/29 - Go to USF for the day.

6/30 - Arrive at EP for RD. Stay until it gets too crowded, then back to condo. Possibly return later in the evening or PH to MK.

7/1 - Arrive at MK for RD. Stay until 3pm when we have to leave for airport.

So what do you all think?

If you get there at around 2, there may not be a lot you can do. Lots of things take 30 minutes or so, such as the shows (Indy Jones, Beauty and the Beast, American Idol). You can check the show times to decide what you want. Maybe you can do the Great Movie Ride and Journey of the Litte Mermaid, possibly the Muppet show.

I would recommend getting an FP+ online for TSMM. This one had a 120 minute wait by 5 pm when we were there last week.

Again, I would get FP+ for what you really want to do. Actually, this goes for all your days.

Did you not have AK on your list for a reason? You could probably do that on your departure day, if you are interested.

Thank you for the reply. Unless something changes, I won't be able to prebook FP+ because I'm staying offsite. Otherwise, I'd be all over the prebooking, especially for our arrival day. That's why I was hoping we'd get to ride TSMM if we got in line right before park close. Thought maybe it would have a shorter line. DHS is really a 1/2-day park for us because we only do one headliner.

My kids have never really wanted to do AK. I'd love to talk them into it but I definitely don't want to do it on our last day in case they don't really enjoy it.

The strategy of riding TSMM at park close is a great one. That standby line really moves once the FP line closes. Last time I used this strategy the sign said 80 min, and we got on in 30 min.

If you are there for the rope drop at many of the parks, you can still head immediately to the FP+ kiosks and get some for pretty decent times.

I would say be flexible. We have used crowd calenders and line predictors to help us plan as that is a busy time of year. I think Disney has an app and touring plans also. We had great luck using touring plans, it has saved us time when crossing the park to find out the attraction is down and when it has reopened.

Just find this link for a crowd calendar.

Not sure if it will tell which parks will be less crowded or just Disney in general but thought you may be interested.
