My pins are on vacation - Update

Right this moment, my pins are boarding a plane in Seattle to fly to WDW. I am not going with them . My parents are going, and I gave two lanyards of DS pins to my Mom to trade, and about 4 pages printed from Pinpics of what type of things to look for (lanyard pins, flex pins, and commons that have been released in the last year).

I think this is the craziest thing I've done in pin trading.

UPDATE: Talked to my Mom tonight and so far she's been able to trade for both the Figment head and the USA Mickey lanyard pins for me! She's also gotten a bunch of other pins that I wanted, so apparently my Mom and my lanyards are having a good trip.

She also mentioned that she saw a prototype Figment Big Fig, for those of you that collect those. And there was a Captain Hook that she didn't know about.

Hope....I have done the same thing on three separate occassions.....the last being yesterday. My motto is.....is you can't be there, live vicariously through your friends. At least someone is going to have fun trading my pins and I may end up with something good. I know........I've got to get a life, but we're headed down to WDW in 15 days and I'll do the same for someone else. In fact, I will be doing the same for my DDIL's mom. She was there during the September pin celebration and traded for me. It increases your chances of adding something special to your collection without the use of e***.

I have sent friends on missions before when they have gone down with family.. . I don't think I could get my Parents to do it for me though... They look at me kinda funny now

Oh I always trade my pins and other's pins too (CM trades)!
I love to CM pin trade. Next to ToT, it's my favorite WDW past time!
Plus it is a great feeling for me when those who can't make it to WDW open up their box full of WDW pins and are so happy!
