my pal mickey?

Anyone have "my pal mickey" interactive doll? My daughter, who is 8, asked if she could get one of these. What exactly does Mickey do/say? Is it cumbersome to carry around the park? She said that it talks and tells trivia about different attractions. I haven't heard any reviews so any help is appreciated.

We think Pal Mickey is great! My DD4 bought one with her own money she had saved for Disney on our last trip (9/03). We all loved it. Pal Mickey is an 8-10 inch plus, so is not bulky at all. He comes with a little clip to clip him on a belt/bag/etc. When he passes certain spots in the parks, he giggles to let you know he has info for you. Then, you just press his hand and he tells you an interesting fact about the attraction you are passing. We all loved listening to the stuff Pal Mickey had to tell you. He is "smart", also. If you pass the same place in the same day, he doesn't tell you the same stuff again! I think your DD would love him!

besided working in the park - the games work at home - though they are not complicated - they are fun - my 13 year old loves hers

If you think you are going to buy one, pack extra batteries. Not sure how long Mickey will last on the first bunch. DD1 loved it because it is Mickey, Dh loves it because it talks to him! Don't forget to bring or buy a bottle strap to hold onto him, though. We wore him when DD was napping.
