my package came today..... we got extra's!

My package arrived and we were surprised to find we got extra lanyards and pins in place of a back pack, Also got an extra backpack but it was for a girl not my little man, so there resending out a back pack for him. Im thrilled. the pins are hidden mickeys and the Tinkerbell back pack is adorable.
Im so excited, now my trip is for real or it feels real :lol: We are on our way )))))) or as peter pan puts it..... off we gooooooooooo

For anyone who went through disneyland.com, or costco, etc, you won't get the lanyards and pins in the packet...just vouchers for them to be picked up at one of a list of stores inside the parks.

I did sweetie.
I did find that the Disney company had better thicker lanyards then the get away todays. but the kids are happy. I also wished getaway today had also included luggage tags. but you can not get everything right

We always go thru Disneyland.com, they give you vouchers for pickup (I think we picked our lanyards up @ Greetings From CA, inside DCA). The lanyards are dark blue, with Disney Travel Co. written in white on them, nothing special really. We ended up buying others we liked better that we also more comfortable to wear. The free one's tend to be rough, IMO.

What about AAA. We used them for our WDW trip two years ago. But I can't remember if we got them with our packet our a voucher. I know the luggage tag came with our packet

No choice, they just have certain (branded) lanyards for each different company (so you'll have Costco on your lanyard while someone else will pick up one with AAA on it, probably different color, with their AAA voucher, etc), and then a certain pin.

However, when we did this in '07, the CM immediately offered to trade pins with us, and hubby took her up on that. Ds and I kept the original pins for keepsake purposes (well, that was MY purpose...DS was 3 so I'm not sure what his purpose was, LOL). Anyway, since they are official disney pins, they can be traded.

I just saw how cheap the Tickets are!! Do you guys buy your tickets from here all the time?? Just verifying so i know they are proper tickets.
