my own microwave

We'll be driving to WDW in September and staying at GF. When we booked the room, I requested a microwave. They said they may or may not have one available. I really want a microwave! (My addiction to micro popcorn is out of control!) Since the van we're traveling in has plenty of space, can I bring my own? (It's very small.) Or will people look at me like I'm out of my tree! (Which I probably am!)

There is a microwave in Gasparilla's (which is pretty centrally located) that you can use. You probably won't have any good place to plug it in when you get to your room.
