I realize there are probably not too many "family rides", but are there and she can go on. I haven't been to the park in 12 years and certaintl never with children. And if my DH and I wait on line with the four year old for e.g. Winnie the Pooh. I watch the baby and DH and DD4 go on the Pooh ride. When they get off, can DD4 go on the Pooh ride with me.
thanks

Oh gosh no!!! You will find PLENTY of rides that your one year old can go on especially in the magic kingdom!

Basically, if there isn't a height restriction, your one year old can go on. Some of the rides are dark, but other than that, most rides are family friendly.

I think the only rides we didn't take our one year old on last time were Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Thunder Mountain.

Have a great time!

Our 1 yr old went on tons of rides!

Magic Kingdom - DUMBO, ALLADIN, CAROUSEL, PETER PAN, WINNIE THE POOH, SMALL WORLD, TEA CUPS, even HAUNTED HOUSE AND PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. She loved Buzz Lightyear as well.

She loved MK. She rode lots of other rides in the other parks as well.

She did not like The Bugs 3D movie at AK or The Great Movie Ride in MGM because of the Gunshots.

Babyswap worked out great for us adults to ride all the big rides she could not go on. Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, and Test Track to name a few.

She really loved seeing all the characters in the parks too. We bought two Disney Sing-A-Long videos long before our trip to introduce her to the lifesize characters before we actually went. The two she came to love were Disneyland Fun and Beach Party at Walt Disney World. She watched both everyday. The result? She would dance and twirl in front of all the characters she saw at the parks. Not an ounce of fear! Loved them. Was so great for us as parents to see her be so excited at such a young age.

Good luck!

My one year old loved all the rides previously mentioned also! She also loved the shows like Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Muppet Vision 3-D (although she chewed on the glasses), and the performances in Epcot. The night shows were a big hit too. I don't think she is old enough to be scared yet.
