My NYC experience

I'm going next week with DD16. Can someone tell me how to get from Times Square to the World Trade Center site via the subway?

Been to the Big Apple a few times over the years, it is the ONLY place like it. Been to lots of other big cities, including living here in Chicago all my life, and no other city comes close to the hustle bustle, non-stop life of NYC. Glad you enjoyed, Lynn. I would love to return one of these days, it is great.

We are supposed to be going December 17th...Keeping my fingers crossed that DH gets his vacation time approved. I've always wanted to go during the winter! I just don't know ANYTHING about NYC...so it's hard for me to plan and know if my plans are feasible! Much different from WDW!

I am not sure I could LIVE in that world, but it sure is fun to visit! And yes, NYC is VERY fast paced, hustle bustle... there is a crowd on every corner and the cars never slow down! I swear they would run over the people crossing the street if there weren't 100 people crossing at once.

Wish I could help..we asked the gentleman at the desk at the hotel. he gave me very good directions for getting there and back. (I made sure I wrote them down too)

NYC is second to Disney in my book! I took my kids for 5 days 2 summers ago, left DH at home, took my 13 yo twin nephews for "help" HA HA HA HA So, I was basically in NYC with 5 kids, ALONE. We had a BLAST! Kids actually cried the day we had to go home.

We stayed at the Waldorf (Priceline can be AMAZING!) and by DS, then 6 says. "this is the fanciest hotel I have ever been in" LOL! I said "me too"

My friends and I want to go next spring with just my DD age 6 and her granddaughter age 5...so they can go to town in the American Girl store, and now, the World of Disney store! What a girl trip THAT will be!

That new Disney Store us amazing!!! You HAVE to take them to the Toys R Us store. As great as the Disney Store was, I was just in awe of this one! It was HUGE!!! And the ferris wheel is definitely something to see!!
