Normally I head to WDW for a solo week long trip in December, but this year I'm heading down in September for an early Halloween instead. Ordered my purple Magic Band, which completes my collection of the colors.
I won't land until about midnight on the 9th/10th, so by the time I get my rental car and head to Animal Kingom lodge, it will be early Saturday morning and the animals will be asleep. I figure I'll wake up and enjoy the savanah view before I have to check out at 11:00 That day I'll be driving down to Ft. Lauderdale to visit with friends for lunch and dinner, but will be driving back up to check into Old Key West, with a nice river view. After breakfast on Sunday, I have some shopping to do at the outlets, but will be heading to DHS in the afternoon, with fast passes for Toy Story Midway Mania and Star Tours. Later that evening, I have tickets for the Halloween party. I have a theme park view at Bay Lake Tower that night, but since I'll be at the MK for the party, I won't get to watch the fireworks from my room. Plus, I've found that since I already saw the Halloween fireworks before, it's usually a great time to walk onto Peter Pan, which has a crazy wait at any other time of the night.
Can't decide what I'll be doing on Monday, since I picked up my Frozen fast pass for Epcot at 6:30. MK opens at 8am, but I'll have just been there the night before. Animal Kingdom opens at 8am for EMH, but I will be there later that evening to check out the night time stuff. Not sure if I want to run all the way over there twice. After Frozen, I will be back at AK to see some of the night time attractions, and then hopefully make it back to MK in time for the MSEP (before they ship it over to California in October). Then I will be checking into Saratoga Springs for my final night.
Next morning, heading to Epcot for my Soarin' fast pass, then I will walk the park and wrap that one up. Back to the resort for a long walk along the river to Disney Springs through the Marketplace entrance. Lunch at Earl of Sandwich, some shopping (well, browsing, since I rarely pick anything up), and then I have a flight back home at 8:30pm.
Lots of running around to do, but I'm excited. Less than three weeks to go!!!
