My Newest Obsession...

is PAPER PIECING. I did 10 for tags (5 figment and 5 Goofy) and 5 for the completed page swap(a really cool train)...and then I made 6 pirate donalds. I'll post them in passing foward if anyone is interested in them, because I really don't need 5 of them. I made so many because it saves paper and because it's an adiction...

I'm starting on a pirate mickey and cheshire cat soon(they're printed), I'll post them here and on pass it foward when they're done. Then I hope I can get back to swap stuff.

Is there some sort of addicts group you can join for this?

Oh I know! I am getting really into paper piecing too!! It is fun, but time consuming.

I like making them too. And you are right, it does seem just easier to make multiples and trade than just to make one. I haven't made many in awhile though, but I am thinking about making some once I get to CO. *Someone* wants Stitch paper piecings.

I'll be looking out on the pass it forward, I have a bunch of stuff leftover from when I did the "Hope" groups in the last Surprise swap. I planned on posing them in that thread when I got moved too.

Donald is SO cute! Someday I will have to learn how to make them not using my bug..lol.. I tried once but it looked awful. So for now I will enjoy everyone else's handy work

I love him, and Donald is DH's favorite!! (My shirt for our trip has the baby Donald on it and says, "Future Donald Fan on Board"!). I'll be watching (hmm. . .would stalking be a better word??) the Pass it Forward thread!!

I've gotten a few from google, most from my WDW coloring book. I plan on going coloring book shopping soon.

If you scan a coloring book image, you need to darken the black lines or it will print funny. I use the photocopy filter in Photoshop.

If there is a particular character you need, I can scan it and darken it for you. I can send you the donald template if you'd like.

The referance from Hope was about me; the others are talkin bout SIOH cause she is the only one of us that is pregnate..lol.. I'm always begging for Stitch paper piecings. I dunno why noone ever makes any. I think in my surprise swap Im going to have a "Kat wants Stitch stuff" group..lol.. Someday I will try making one.. unless they come out with a pixar cart which would rock my world!
