My new plan...

Since I'm spending about 1.5 hrs each day (yes, I'm a bit embarassed, and exhausted since it's cutting in on my sleep time!) reading posts, going to Mousesavers, checking Disney Rewards sit, etc. waiting on this FD offer, I have decided on a new plan! What if I got a second job -

10 hrs/wk
$8/hr
$80 pre tax

19 weeks until vacation
Totals $1,520 earned pre-tax

I only need about $900 to pay for free dining, so I could actually make out on the deal and stop obsessing.

Too bad there are no jobs around here! It was a nice diversion, though.

The sad thing is, I'm a freelance writer, so I literally could be working/earning money with all the time I spend on this. At some point, I'll have to stop obsessing over my vacation and help my husband pay for it.

I did the same thing...guess where I work? Disney Store of course...I just got home and now I just stay up later to visit the boards.

That's what I was thinking....only 1.5 hours.....I'd have to say at least 5 times that and somtimes I have my laptop and my desktop on at the same time

Wow- Are we all related???? I think I must need a life with all the time I put into these boards. But I have to say, I work full time and its really nice to wind down with my Disney friends!!!(Even if its way more hours then I will ever admitt!!!!)

How about becoming a travel agent who is a specialist in Disney vacations? You are already halfway there. I've seriously considered this many times.

OK, maybe I cut like an hour off my time spent on the boards, etc so that I can maintain just a little bit of my self-respect I'm glad the rest of you are in it with me!!!

It's late on the night before Easter, the kids will be up early....what am I doing here??? I should be in bed, but I just had to check in to see if anything is new. Like what going to be new at midnight Sat. night???? It's a sickness and we've all got it BAD!!!!

From my experience asking travel agents to book Disney vacations for us, I believe those of us on this site know more about how to save money on a trip than the travel agents do.....probably worth the time.
