...and I really liked it. I liked the looks, the compartments, the room at the top for other stuff (great for Disney and other trips) so I loaded it up and put it on. Uggh! the straps are too bulky and uncomfortable in front by my shoulders. Every time I move my arms forward, the straps are in the way.

When I connected the chest strap, that made the backpack sooo comfy because it pulled the straps closer together in the front and they lay like they're supposed to. But that looks so, how do I say it, dorky? And being a girl, I don't really want to wear a chest strap all the time, if you know what I mean.;) I don't have that much gear now, so I really don't need the extra support of the waist and chest straps. It's a great bag, IF you wear the chest strap.

So now I'm thinking of ordering the Kata 3n1. I kept going back and forth between the rucksack and the 3n1 before, but I really liked the looks of the backpack better. I like the idea of the 3n1 of wearing it as a sling or a backpack, and I don't think it's as large as the rucksack. Maybe I'll order the Lowepro slingshot 100 too and then compare them.

Anyone know if the 3n1's straps are like the 465 rucksack's?

I never saw any of the Kata's in the stores here. The one camera store in town doesn't carry them.

Thanks!
Lynn

I just ordered the Kata 465. I was really hoping, too, that I could find one in stores to try on, but no luck at all. The 3n1 looks very nice as well.
