My New Car

Hi All

Nothing to do with holidays or Disney, but I am so excited I just had to tell someone.

I had my new company car delivered today and it is fab. I have a new Vaxhall Astra Elite in Flame Red. 5 door, Leather seats which heat up and for the first time in 3 years I will be able to see out of the back window as my old car was a renault megane soft top, which was a pain in the cold weather as you could not see a thing out of the back small plastic window.

It will be great to be able to get my mother in it without resorting to Vicki and I spending 5 mins pushing her in from behind and 20 mins trying to pull her out lol.

Sorry if this is boring but I'm so excited. Off for a spin now.

Have fun I'm into week 3 of my new car but as I do a 100 mile round trip to work it won't stay new for long

Not fancy with heated seats but I do have a quick clear windscreen will be fab at 5.50 in the morning and I have Air Con!! Which means we may never get a decent summer again....

My brother has just got a new land rover vogue,and that has heated seats but he hasnt taken me for a spin in it yet LOL
He said they are lovely.

I know just how lovely the heated seats are. We've had them for about 20 years but when I bought my new Volvo C70 Convertible in the summer, I had to insist on them as an extra. I too have a pathetic rear window, though it is glass. I feel that for £30,000 though, they ought to be able to find a way to fit a rear window wiper! But I LOVE my car so much I'm prepared to put up with the minor inconveniences.
