My National Rate went down $81!!!!!

After reading about the different discounts, I once again tried my dates at National. I booked at $247 for 10 days, and my recently checked rates have been at $300+. Yesterday I booked a car for $146! It's an intermediate, rather than full sized, but I don't really care, for those savings!

I've been reading about all the lucky people whose rates have gone way down and now ours took a nosedive to $99.23 for a week with an intermediate car in Dec. Interestingly enough, we could only get that rate by renting in Orlando. We usually fly into Tampa because we like the small airport better and we can usually get a better price, but with this rate, we will be flying into Orlando. Tampa is $143.

Mine has went from the original $187, w/budget, to $114/ for 8 days with National thanks to these boards.

DH puts my savings as .03 cents/per hour, that I have spent on the boards. he thinks I'm crazy.
