My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

So exciting that you guys are leaving so soon! I texted Christine b/c I have a Weather Channel app on my iPhone and it gives severe weather alerts. I have two right now, one for a flood watch and one for a high wind watch, both for Friday. They are for both my and Christine's areas so I had to text her and let her know what she's missing. :rotfl2:

I'm working tomorrow and then going to Boston with my cousins, so I probably won't be be back before you guys leave. Have an awesome, wonderful, magical trip! I will definitely be following along for pictures on Facebook!

so my parents friends are in Disney now and they did find the disney play food at DTD. So after all this time Caleb is finally getting his disney play food!

What time do you leave on Sat? I hope the weather clears before you take off! We are expecting 10-12inches of snow! I am so ready for winter to be OVER!

Have a great trip!

:hyper:

That is how I feel right now. And I still have to wait until Monday!

I really hope that you are not currently spinning around in a funnel cloud, but if you are, I hope that someone gets a picture of that.

I love it that you get to wear a Disney shirt to work on your last day before your trip!

I probably won't get on here at all tomorrow so I just wanted to say my "goodbye, have a magical time!!!" to you ladies now! You know my number so definitely send pictures when you can. Can't wait to hear alllll about it and see the pictures on FB as well :thumbsup2

Safe travels!! :goodvibes

I've been lurking/following all your trips throughout the years. It has been fun seeing the girls grow up! Can't wait to follow along on your upcoming next trip! Have a safe trip and have a great time!

So very glad to have you around!
Next trip starts soon.
Not sure about when the trip report will start, though. :upsidedow

80 mile an hour winds are supposedly pounding down on Tennessee. :scared1:
I hope they are nowhere near that high when they reach here.

I'm glad Christine is missing the bad weather. :thumbsup2

Not until 8. We usually take the 6, but I guess Jill thought she'd be worn out and need two extra hours of sleep. I bet she's right, too. ;)

Have a great trip! Hope your last day of work is a smooth-sailing one.

I will be happy for that. ::yes::

Woohooo! Have a fantastic time!!!

We shall. We shall. :yay:

Someone just came on FB and said 80 mph winds are headed this way. I need that to stop, if it is true.

Yeah, that did work out nicely for me to start my Disney stuff a little early. :goodvibes I think I am going to wear the gray Magic Kingdom with all of the letters shaped and colored like the characters.

Thank you, ma'am!

We'll send pictures.

Where did you get your Mickey pan?

My mother-in-law got it at a yard sale. It is a Wilton pan though so I imagine it might be possible to find it somewhere. It is cute but difficult to decorate for kids.

One more school day for you!:yay: Looking forward to seeing pictures! Safe travels!!

just wanted to tell you all to have a magical trip and cannot wait for the pictures.

YAY MeMom!! Vacation in 24 hours and counting!!! WOOT WOOT!!! :goodvibes So excited I got back in time to wish you well! The weather was FABLOUS!!!!

There was no flight at 6. The earliest was at 8. After the week I have had I need two days of extra sleep not just two hours!

It looks pretty good right now. Looks like 80's for the most part and not much rain.

Have a fun and safe trip. can't wait to hear about it.

Thanks. Check in for pictures every day.

Why did they drop that flight? That was perfect for us!

You get to check us in first thing tomorrow morning! :cool1:

Here is the link to my facebook album where the pics will be posted.

FB Pictures

I will check in when I can. I'm going to be out of town, though, so I don't know.... :rolleyes1

With a Disney shirt on in the morning and the girls arriving in the evening I'd say tomorrow is going to be a very good day!:cloud9:

Just a comment about that look on Brooklynn's face as she was boarding the plane. I know I have the same look too, just no where near as cute.

I am so glad you checked in so that we know you are okay. My first thought when the news started covering it was "I have a Dis friend there!" I'm so glad all your family seems to be accounted for and safe so sorry for the damage and loss. I will continue to keep you guys in my prayers as everyone begins to pick up the pieces and prayers of Thanksgiving that you and your family are safe.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and words Jill - if you dont mind I will "friend" you on facebook so i can keep up with your trips.

DisneyKiwi - you and your family and all people of NZ will be in my prayers. I have been watching the coverage on our news and it is just devastating. So happy all your relatives are OK.

have a wonderful trip

DisneyKiwi my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Oh my goodness! Praying for NZ. I have a good friend who's in-laws live there. I saw your post and quickly texted her. They too are okay! Whew!!!

that is good news

Thoughts and prayers are going out to you.:goodvibes

I, too, thought of you when the news broke in the US. Glad to hear you and your relatives are ok.

Thank you Poolrat - loving your trip reports by the way.

I will check in when I can. I'm going to be out of town, though, so I don't know.... :rolleyes1

Memom - I love your sense of humour!! you make me laugh alot!! I also think you would be such a cool teacher with your Disney t shirt and other things in your class.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and care - it is much appreciated. Unfortunately the death toll has risen to 113 and still a couple of hundred missing - but its amazing how people all get together to help each other when the chips are down. The one that really made my cry was a 9mth old boy who was on the floor and the TV fell on him - I cant imagine their pain. There has been so much help from all over the world - your country has sent a big search and rescue contingent with specialist equipment and dogs. They arrived at 2am this morning and went straight to work - they are brilliant and we cant say enough about it. It makes you realise the world is not such a bad place most of the time.

Anyway enough bad stuff - we are alive and have Disney in our lives. I finally got to watch the documentary Walt: the man, myth etc last night. It was a lovely program.

Have a great trip all you who are travelling - hope the weather doesnt get in the way before you even get there

Happy Disney Eve, MeMom and Jill!!!

You know I had my eye on the weather last night as it swept across Tennessee. Hope you escaped the worst of it.

Are those spiffy new suitcases ready to go?

What Disney t-shirt did you decide to wear? I think I may wear one today in honor of your trip. ;)

have a great trip!! You so deserve a fun-filled vacation:cool1:

I don't deserving it, but we sure will appreciate it! :)

I think I capture just the right feeling. Poor little girl. I was probably making it worse by saying, "One last goodbye, Brooklynn." Maybe it would be better if we left Disney World at different times!

I think I have decided on the gray Magic Kingdom shirt with the character letters. I think my kids would like that one the most. A Disney t-shirt and seeing my girls makes for one of the nicest Fridays of the entire school year!

Oh yeah, and it's the day before a Disney trip. That kinda helps, too. :)

We just experienced Hurricane Katrina not long ago. We know the toll a disaster takes on a group of people emotionally, physically, and financially. The effects are long lasting. I am so sorry you have lose so many people and so much property, and you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

***********************************************

In the midst of my happiness about our trip, I woke up to sad FB news this morning. In our storms last night, an Amish family (in Hopkinsville, KY, I think) was swept away in their horse & buggy. It was a mother and six children, and they have not located four of the children. Keep them in your throughts and prayers. I cannot imagine losing one child, much less four.:sad1: I don't know any details - I just saw someone post about it. They have to be devastated beyond belief right now. I know they have full trust in God and His workings, but they are also human and are feeling human pains and fears.

It just reminds me that at all different times, we are going through life's highs and lows, and I like to be mindful of those who are unfortunately experiencing their lows. We will all have our turns at that, and I know we would appreciate the thoughts of others during our trials.

We made it to Friday! Should be a fun day at school, and as soon as I have all of my sub information lined up on the table, I will be out of there as quickly as possible this afternoon. It's not easy to make plans and line things up for three days. One day is not bad, but to leave work in order for three days, plus extras in case the sub needs to keep them busy, is not an easy task. It is hard to go into someone's room and know how it operates, so I try to have it ultra-organized to help the sub. My kids have been warned that I better not find their names on a 'bad note' ;), but I already know the first four that will be listed. Ihave a fairly good idea of the next two, too. :upsidedow

I'm leaving it all behind, though, and will try not to think of any school troubles. It's almost time to party, and I plan to enjoy the whole thing. :cool2:
