We got about an inch or two this morning, but that's nothing compared to what we had a few weeks ago!
I was horrified yesterday morning because I woke up with a sore throat I developed a stuffy nose throughout the day too. But this morning my throat feels better. I'm still sniffling, but that doesn't bother me too much. I HATE having a sore throat so I'm glad that's going away. I told Meg last night that I absolutely refuse to have a cold in Disney, so I'm determined that this will be gone by Wednesday morning. My stubborn-ness will drive it right out of my body
I hope we are finished with our wacky winter down here!
Take care of yourself this week - no being sick for your trip.

Don't forget Pop has several breakfast items that count as snacks. I love there banana bread, and other pastries.
This time next week I will be on the road to Disney World, hopefully past Macon, or even Valdosta.
I am a fan of the banana bread, too.
We'll be driving this summer, and rather than stopping in Perry this time, Jill is hoping to get as far as Valdosta before we stop. She thinks we're going to be able to leave earlier than we normally do.
Safe travels to you guys, and we'll see you again soon!
You're deffinitely going to be needing the SPF 70 and quite a bit of it. Sadly there are areas on my cheeks that are already blistering... Its going to be a loooooong week or 2 of healing this sunburn for me. So I'll have to enjoy your pictures of The World until it's safe for me to be in the sun again.
Yesterday's forecast was looking better than any other one so far. I haven't checked it this morning, but it's getting close enough to be fairly accurate. The others were too far out for me to worry about them, so I didn't pay much attention.
I will start getting a red nose within a very short time being out in the sun. I need to be lathered up well.
One week from today anyplace Disney just sounds heavenly to me! I'll welcome all of your updates and try to tag along with my phone under my desk.
I will send you pictures to make you smile. You can just drop a piece of paper or a pencil, lean down to pick it up, and check your phone picture. Your kids are going to be wondering why Miss Anita Wigd keeps dropping her supplies like they do all day long!

Or you can the old 'tried and true' - set folders up around you and hide behind those. You always know something evil is going on behind those folder forts.

Yay for one week until the Animal Kingdom! It's my favorite park, and I'm so glad to see that you guys enjoy it too!
Oh, and I forgot to list my favorite snack- the chocolate crepes from the crepe stand in France. I don't see them getting a lot of love on the boards, but it sure does get a lot of love in my tummy!
I do believe it could be my favorite park, too.
I have never had the chocolate crepes. Epcot is a big problem. There are way too many things to choose from!!!
One week! How super exciting!! I don't know what I was thinking when I said I didn't need a trip this spring. Of course, when I go in October I'll be super glad but right now it's the pits... I'll have to make do with a trip to the Disney Store Outlet over spring break...April just seems a world away. School is beating me up right now. I've had a great day off but tomorrow is looming.
That chef of the day thing looked sooo cute! You and Ellie would be fast friends-that girl has never passed up ice cream!!
The baking party sounds like a great idea! I have a baking pan that is mini Mickey heads that would be great to use for something like that. Ellie and her friends might just be old enough to handle decorating something that in-depth.
Here's to a quick, and uneventful, week!
Where did you get your Mickey pan?
School beats teachers up far too often. And yet, we keep going back. We are gluttons for punishment, obviously. Treat yourself to that Disney Store trip.

Next time we meet in Disney World, we'll make it an ice cream shop.
ok...i know I have asked this question more than once and neither time I have not ordered the disney play food set but my parents good friends are leaving thursday for WDW and they are going to look for this for me...did you find the play food at World of Disney? That was what I was thinking and thats what I told her...but now I am second guessing myself!
Also, have you just tried asking for extra kids mickey shaped plates at the sit down resturants? I am going to see if she can bring me home some also because I want to do a Mickey Mouse (or Gickey Mau as Caleb calls him) for his 3rd birthday in September (where has the time gone that he is going to be 3 already?
Have you looked at Target? They have been having some Mickey plates.
Yes, I'm pretty sure the playset was at World of Disney.
We bought the food set for Lexi just last Tuesday. We found it in one of the shops on Main Street. It was 14.99 I believe. I can check for you when I get home if you really want to know. I didn't get to spend to much time in World of Disney but I didn't see it there, but like I said I wasn't there that long and I probably missed it.
We'll look, too, and let you know what we see.
I'll be thinking of you "this time next week" at AK.
Picturing you riding on the safari, watching Lion King, jammin to the parade, shopping in the stores, saying Hi to the baby gorilla Lily....so much fun.
Looks like sunny skies are ahead! Should make for great pics!
I hope we get to see Lily. Knowing more background now will make me appreciate her even more. I'll ask the CM there for the latest update.
One week from today .....
Don't forget to say Hi to my favorite tumble monkey.
i woundn't mind a picture ot two of anything Diney.
With my new phone I may be able to post them from the phone.
If I can break away from Naveen, I'll speak to your tumble monkey.

Little Chef Brooklyn is so cute! It's too bad she wasn't able to enjoy it more - but at least you got to enjoy her ice cream Memom! My neice is four and she's just like that! She loves to be the centre of attention - but only from people she knows! She would have just stood there silently and then raved about it later! What a nice experience to cheer you up from "last day blues"
It was fun. I'm glad she was in the right place at the right time.
Lots of dancing fruit this week.

Well I think Brooklynn makes a very beautiful chef! Hey maybe one of my next sewing projects will be a special POP apron for a couple of little blond cuties.
Oooooh, that sounds good!
Yeay for playing the one week game! Starting the day off with Animal Kingdom sounds just about perfect!
Today will be Magic Kingdom day, and there will be an awesome DIS meet.
