My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Hey Memom and gang. Just wanted to pop in and say the warm FL weather is waiting for you, but make sure you have LOTS of sun block. I went to the Daytona 500 yesterday. It was 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, and therefore I am so burnt that I may easily be consfused with a giant ketchup bottle :rotfl2: Can't wait to read more :)

I am loving that snack list! Thanks so much for posting that link. I never knew there were so many snacks! :scared1:

I am so excited for your trip! Have you checked the weather? I am hoping it will be nice and warm!:yay:

Catching up, again. Chef of the Day looked fun. Abby is just like that... likes to be the center of attention sometimes, but then other times she surprises us and gets a little shy.

I've finally gathered a few things and shopped for a few new things for our trip. I'm hoping to get most of the girls packed tonight since Abby is spending the night at her Granny's. I tried packing her this weekend, but evertime I turned around, she was "packing" her own things:lmao:

One week from today, we will be on our way to Epcot:cool1:

We are not needing winter coats here right now. I saw that the north was getting more snow. I feel sorry for whoever that is happening to.

We got about an inch or two this morning, but that's nothing compared to what we had a few weeks ago!

I was horrified yesterday morning because I woke up with a sore throat :scared1: I developed a stuffy nose throughout the day too. But this morning my throat feels better. I'm still sniffling, but that doesn't bother me too much. I HATE having a sore throat so I'm glad that's going away. I told Meg last night that I absolutely refuse to have a cold in Disney, so I'm determined that this will be gone by Wednesday morning. My stubborn-ness will drive it right out of my body ;)

Don't forget Pop has several breakfast items that count as snacks. I love there banana bread, and other pastries.

This time next week I will be on the road to Disney World, hopefully past Macon, or even Valdosta.

WOOT WOOT!! I love the one week until game!!!!!!!

YAY Jill and MeMom!! I'm so excited for the both of you and your family!!! IT is going to be a much needed vacation and time to relax!!!

A POP Apron???? Hope you get one LOL!!!

We do, too!

To know that we will be in Magic Kingdom Saturday afternoon really helps get through the next five days. So far, today has been fairly good. :thumbsup2

One week from now how to be the best game ever! Hope that your week goes by quickly and painlessly!

So far, not bad. Of course, I should go knock on wood, I suppose. :goodvibes

I have my sunblock ready to roll. I am supposed to get zero sun, according to my dermatologist and oncologist from back when I had my surgery. I apply the 70 SPF.

I hope you don't blister and peel and all. Ouch!!!

I'm still taking some snacks, as usual, and maybe I'll have plenty to share with Trent and then some treats to bring back to friends with my snack credits.

The forecast I checked this morning looked beautiful! :cool1:

If you send me a plain white apron, I think I could add a Pop Century applique to it. ;)

I could end up doing that. ;)
Better yet, if I could find eight child size white aprons, I might pay you to do something in the way of a Chef Mickey's pattern. I would love to do something like that for the kids if/when we know we're going to do a baking day with all the little cousins.

One week from right now, I'll be somewhere in Animal Kingdom, which is one of my favorite places in the world, as you know. I should be a pretty happy person this moment next week. :)

I did some shopping yesterday. I won't stock the fridge for Drew until Wednesday or Thursday, so he can't eat it all before I leave.

Jill said the girls had packed their suitcases one day a week or so ago. There was an interesting mix of things in them.

You're deffinitely going to be needing the SPF 70 and quite a bit of it. Sadly there are areas on my cheeks that are already blistering... Its going to be a loooooong week or 2 of healing this sunburn for me. So I'll have to enjoy your pictures of The World until it's safe for me to be in the sun again.

One week from today anyplace Disney just sounds heavenly to me! I'll welcome all of your updates and try to tag along with my phone under my desk.

Yay for one week until the Animal Kingdom! It's my favorite park, and I'm so glad to see that you guys enjoy it too!

Oh, and I forgot to list my favorite snack- the chocolate crepes from the crepe stand in France. I don't see them getting a lot of love on the boards, but it sure does get a lot of love in my tummy! :goodvibes

One week! How super exciting!! I don't know what I was thinking when I said I didn't need a trip this spring. Of course, when I go in October I'll be super glad but right now it's the pits... I'll have to make do with a trip to the Disney Store Outlet over spring break...April just seems a world away. School is beating me up right now. I've had a great day off but tomorrow is looming.

That chef of the day thing looked sooo cute! You and Ellie would be fast friends-that girl has never passed up ice cream!!

The baking party sounds like a great idea! I have a baking pan that is mini Mickey heads that would be great to use for something like that. Ellie and her friends might just be old enough to handle decorating something that in-depth.

Here's to a quick, and uneventful, week!:goodvibes

ok...i know I have asked this question more than once and neither time I have not ordered the disney play food set but my parents good friends are leaving thursday for WDW and they are going to look for this for me...did you find the play food at World of Disney? That was what I was thinking and thats what I told her...but now I am second guessing myself!

Also, have you just tried asking for extra kids mickey shaped plates at the sit down resturants? I am going to see if she can bring me home some also because I want to do a Mickey Mouse (or Gickey Mau as Caleb calls him) for his 3rd birthday in September (where has the time gone that he is going to be 3 already? :-(

We bought the food set for Lexi just last Tuesday. We found it in one of the shops on Main Street. It was 14.99 I believe. I can check for you when I get home if you really want to know. I didn't get to spend to much time in World of Disney but I didn't see it there, but like I said I wasn't there that long and I probably missed it.

I'll be thinking of you "this time next week" at AK.

Picturing you riding on the safari, watching Lion King, jammin to the parade, shopping in the stores, saying Hi to the baby gorilla Lily....so much fun. :)

Looks like sunny skies are ahead! Should make for great pics! :thumbsup2

One week from today .....

Don't forget to say Hi to my favorite tumble monkey. ;):lmao:

i woundn't mind a picture ot two of anything Diney.

With my new phone I may be able to post them from the phone.

Little Chef Brooklyn is so cute! It's too bad she wasn't able to enjoy it more - but at least you got to enjoy her ice cream Memom! My neice is four and she's just like that! She loves to be the centre of attention - but only from people she knows! She would have just stood there silently and then raved about it later! What a nice experience to cheer you up from "last day blues"

Well I think Brooklynn makes a very beautiful chef! Hey maybe one of my next sewing projects will be a special POP apron for a couple of little blond cuties.
