My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Maybe we'll hook up with you on MK day then. What places and times are your ADR's for that day? Maybe we can just come to wherever you are waiting for them to call you in.

On the 26th we have an ADR in the morning at Tusker House, so we'll spend some of the day there, and then head over to MK sometime in the afternoon. We'll be watching MSEP at 7:00 and then we have Chef Mickey's at 8:10. If it works for you guys we could just meet somewhere in MK on that afternoon.

After several minutes of watching the parade, which I don't know if I took video or just watched, since there are no pictures, I noticed that I had walked out of the Emporium still holding the two packs of little figures I had planned to buy. I felt my heart sink into my stomach, and I looked around for anyone with a badge that might be heading toward me. Luckily, there was no one like that. Jill cracked up laughing at me, and instead of sympathizing with my plight, I think she didn't take long to post onto Facebook that I was a thief!

 MeMom, I'm shocked! Once when I was in Kindergarten I accidentally took home a little toy(Very little. Like the size of my finger). I had forgotten to put it back and took it with my stuff when I went home or something like that. I felt soooo guilty about it! I brought it back the next day and put it back without anyone noticing but I felt like such a terrible person :rotfl:

Hi MeMom! Regarding those collector packs that you INITIALLY stole but subsequently paid for, you're correct when you said there are trading opportunities. When I bought mine at Once Upon a Toy this past April, the CM told me that I could go to the center room of the store and trade. The CM at that counter pulled out a box and dumped everything out for me to look at. The main thing I wanted was the Peter Pan ride vehicle, which my fiancé was able to find in a pack by feeling it. I traded my other 2 for a Kali River Rapids tube and a Test Track vehicle. I love the ride vehicles the most, and I'm glad they have the opportunity to trade for them!

Hope you like what you got in your packs!

but wouldn;t it be cool if they did have mickey shaped handcuffs!

Try?
She 'walked right out the store' with something! :scared1: :rotfl:

It was at that point that we heard the music coming back through for the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! parade, so we stepped outside to see it.

When the parade was over and had made its way back through the fence, I went back inside and explained to a CM at the counter what I had done. She didn't act like it was any big deal at all. I then PAID for the two packages, (wanted to be sure you all got that part) which will forever make my heart flutter at the thought of my initial thievery.

I felt lucky that no one had shown up with Mickey-shaped handcuffs, and we went on our way.

But since I had made out with that stuff, maybe I should try something bigger later in the trip.
And maybe I should make the baby my accomplice this time.
My heavens, it did happen again, and after that I told Jill I was not allowed in any more stores!
But more on that when it comes along in the trip. ;)

This had me :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: so hard. I am sure you are not the only one who has gotten distracted by a parade. :rolleyes1
Now the second time!!!! :rolleyes1

Polynesian works for me. We love it there and always visit. I can snag another ziplock bag full of sand for my vase. ;) We'll have to see who else can make it over there. What time is your Kona ADR? Since we will have caught the 6 a.m. flight that morning, I am guessing that we will not stay out late that night.

Have you not learned your lesson??!!!??? :rotfl: ;)

We are planning a day at MK on Tues March 1st, also. We will arrived on Monday, Feb. 28th but it will be after 5:00.

Kona is at 5:30 so we can try and catch the parade as well. Missed it the last 2 trips.

What do you have going on March 1st? It looks like several people could be in Magic Kingdom that day.

Oh my! What a narrow escape from Disney jail! :scared1: Just kidding. An honest mistake I'm sure a great many people make every day.

Your new/revised trip plans sound like fun. It would be super cool to be there for the Magic Kingdom's anniversary in Oct. I hope they will have special merchandise... I"ll especially look forward to those shopping pictures!

It was totally unintentional, but when I realized I still had the two little packages, I wondered if someone was just waiting for the right time to pounce on me. When I realized they weren't, I wondered why!

We'll hope it works out. Planning shorter trips more often may be the route we go now, since visiting Disney World also means time with Trent. Disney World or no Disney World, we want to see him as often as possible.

Would you like for me to bring you some chicken casserole tomorrow? It would be leftovers from my house that you haven't had since Saturday.

That would be lovely. It was delicious! :)

We have absolutely no plans yet. We'll be at the resort by late afternoon on the 28th, so we can do whatever, whenever!

I know we will see you at Pop before the 1st, but can you happen to be in Magic Kingdom on the 1st? I'm sure we will do Dumbo and Peter Pan quickly, but then maybe we could fill a Small World boat with DISers.

I am amazed at what Disney bakers can create! I watched a show on a food channel that showed holiday treats at Disneyland and how they are made. It's AMAZING! They make homemade candy canes, and those dipped apples! Who would think to make Mickey/Minnie apples! WOW! I SO can't wait to see that magic again. It has been too long. Thank you again for filling that void with your shopping pics.

Isn't it fun to watch those shows and know the end result personally? :thumbsup2 Jill got me the whole set of Disney Parks videos for Christmas! :dance3: We watched the Animal Kingdom one, and after the girls go back home and I'm all alone again, those videos will be keeping me company as I dream of February.

We'll plan to meet you on that day, then. You can PM me your number, and we'll text you.

I knew I read something bout it, but I'm gld to hear from someone who has actually done it. I have only bought 3-4 packs so far, so I have no repeats yet. I think I'll concentrate on the park rides, too, for the next trip.

but wouldn;t it be cool if they did have mickey shaped handcuffs!

I'll let someone else be the one to find out! :upsidedow

Have you not learned your lesson??!!!???

Going to jail and being cooped up in a small cell would be one of my top nightmares ever! :scared1:

I can see the slogan for the fundraiser now. Bail for MeMom!!

But you would contribute, right??? ::yes::
Is there a pleading smiley?

We are planning a day at MK on Tues March 1st, also. We will arrived on Monday, Feb. 28th but it will be after 5:00.

Are you in for a Small World ride on the morning of the 1st?

:rotfl2:Too funny about the Memom theft. If you can remember, I did a similar thing when we saw each other at MK. I almost walked out without paying for Cooper's lollipop. So, I can say that it is easily done when you are distracted. I am going to work on my hubby. The first round of the NCAA tournament is in Tampa that week, so I could possibly persuade him by letting him go to some games by himself. We will see. He wants to try somewhere else. There is also a conference at Atlantis in the Bahamas, but I really would like to go back to the GF. I would also have to get Blake's passport if we did that and I really am not looking forward to going through that process soon. :sad2:

That apple decorated like Minnie Mouse is so cute.

How long do you get to keep your little girls? I know it will be hard to let them go.

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I can just see you wandering out of the store drawn by the sounds of a Disney parade! Who can resist that music??? :rotfl: Okay, did you finish watching the parade because you couldn't cross the street back to the Emporium or was it because you wanted to see the end of it? ;) Too funny! I would have been in such a panic!

You and Bella did it again??? Oh my goodness! :rotfl2:

I remember Jill saying something about this on fb.

Lexi already liked the look of those little trinkets. She was sitting next to me while I was reading your update and she said they were cute.

Lexi wants to say hi to Brooklynn
:wizard::laundy::yay::hippie:pixiedust::rockband: ::MickeyMo :dumbo::dumbo::sulley::mickeybar:smickey: :mickeyjum :hmghost::earboy2::fish::dogdance: :umbrella:

Small World sounds great, that morning. I agree it would be fun to fill the boat with DISers. Let me know the time you want to meet.

I am off to Town Center today. I will think of my follow DISers while visiting the Disney Store.

Poor MeMom!! I think walking out with something is completely easy to do, especially with small children and wonderful parade music. Don't beat yourself up. ;) I had to giggle at Jill posting about it on FB though. That is something I would probably do to my mom as well. lol!!! It's all done with love of course. :lovestruc

We have to leave on the sun 3/27 :( quick, mother/daughter/5k trip but I will pm you my cell as well and maybe we can figure something out. We will be at Kona and then MK as well that night. I wish my DS (almost 3) was coming as well because he would have a ball with Brooklyn and Bella there.

Everyone who is going to be in WDW in February/March -
What do your plans look like for the 28th and the 1st?
I think Sunday is the only day that has Fantasmic while we are there, so we planned our schedule, if I recall correctly, like this:

Saturday (26) - arrive around early lunchtime, go to Magic Kingdom
Sunday (27) - Hollywood Studios
Monday (28) - Animal Kingdom
Tuesday (1) - Magic Kingdom
Wednesday (2) - Epcot until we have to go back for UnMagical Express

We are doing regular tickets, no hoppers this time, so we can't change parks. I don't want to plan anything for the 2nd, because that is opening day of Flower & Garden, our only day at Epcot, and only a partial day, so we will be on a mission that day. Monday evening, the 28th, could be a good time for us, as Animal Kingdom closes fairly early. We could all meet at AKL for zebra domes and a walk around the savannah. We could meet in DTD or at Poly for fireworks. Depending on the weather, Pop's kiddie pool is a great place to sit around at tables and talk while the kids run free and safe, since they are right there and there is only the one in/out path. You guys can throw out ideas and we'll see what works best for everyone.

I just priced out flight, Pop Century, park tickets and regular dining for Sat thru Tues for me and the three girls. It came to $2432. Just dreaming :cloud9: but it would be nice to get away that weekend. I would need to take two personal days. I think we will definitely be playing the Mega Millions Friday...so much to do and so little money...lol!

Oh and your story reminds me of Brooklyn. We were in HS in a shop with friends looking around. Brooklyn found a blanket almost identical to the one our friend had brought. The girls were cuddling in it in the morning. Well, Brooklyn walked out of the store holding it and I hadn't a clue until we arrived back at the stroller and the real blanket was there. I realized what happened and ran back to the store with the new blanket and tried to explain to the CM what happened. She just smiled and said thank you for returning it. LOL :rolleyes1

I know we will see you at Pop before the 1st, but can you happen to be in Magic Kingdom on the 1st? I'm sure we will do Dumbo and Peter Pan quickly, but then maybe we could fill a Small World boat with DISers.

It's a date! :thumbsup2

Oh, gosh, had I done what you did, my family would never, ever let me live it down!

Those figurines are very cute -- I'm going to the mall with a decent Disney store in a little while...I am pretty sure they have Vinylmations, so I might have to check for those, too :rolleyes1

I got an email from Disney Visa that kids 3-9 are free. That usually means that a day or two later they are offered to general public.

Dear Cardmembers,

Take advantage of this advance booking offer today to purchase a 4-night/4-day Magic Your Way Vacation Package that includes room and Theme Park tickets, and children age 3-9 can stay and get a 4-day Theme Park admission ticket, FREE. So hurry and book today! Your offer is available for stays most nights February 17–April 16, April 28–June 14, and August 14–October 1, 2011.

I have to talk with the heater people tomorrow. It's supposed to be 17 degrees in the next few nights, so I am hoping I can work out the payment plan and then go ahead and have it installed before it breaks down again.

*****************************************

17 degrees?! That's colder than here! I hope it all worked out and the HEATER people came on time and it's taken care of!

We are pretty open to whatever. I would prefer something not on our travel day, as we usually like to just chill and not have appointments of any kind. However, we can make it work if that's the best date!

I would LOVE to do a Pop meet so the kids can play if the weather allows. I want to take Henry over there, plus their kids pools are just awesome. :goodvibes

With all that said...there is a possibility we might not be there at all....I recently interviewed for a job and they really liked me. However, I will most likely be VERY needed in Feb and March, so I don't think they would be too keen on a 2 week vacation during that time. I haven't heard any exact details, or if I even have the job yet for sure, so I haven't canceled anything, but I'll keep ya posted. If we do have to move the trip, we are looking at May.
