My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

I love how that big spot was cleared just for her performance. ;):lmao:

It was for self-protective measures. Look how many people in the crowd are actually watching the performance. ;)

I spy a Memom and Jill shadow!! :goodvibes

I see either a camera or a square unicorn horn sticking out of my head.

1st a quote from the last TR... I think we were trying to meet at MK? But my memory is a little foggy now too.:rotfl:

*rushes in, looks around*. Sorry im late...juggling final papers and retail has been different.

I wondered what the title meant but I had a feeling it had to do with Brooklynn and i can just imagine her saying it...lol

oh my memom, sorry to hear about your fall are you alright or (all right) now? That cold weather was a mess...I didn't think I would have to deal with those lows since I wasn't in Wisconsin anymore.

The pictures of Trent and the girls are so cute.

Happy Birthday to Hollie!!!!:yay:

I am officially caught up here, now to get ready for work. :sad2: On happier note, next Saturday I will be waking up at Disney! Even though I have to continue on with the tasks of the real world, least I have the benefit of waking up in Disney for 2 weeks! Its our family Christmas present from my Dad. Im so excited. I'm gonna get me some Mickey waffles

Hooray for two weeks in Disney World! Even having to go to work, that is still super exciting! I'm anxious to see pictures and to find out where you end up eating Christmas dinner.

Enjoy your break from school. :goodvibes

My side is a tiny bit better. I can tell a little difference in the past few days.

I'd say any cold you get down there is going to be a breeeeze compared to a Wisconsin winter!

Oh how I wish I were shopping in the MK right now.
Hope you're having a relaxing Saturday!

We stayed busy with Brooklynn's dance recital most of the day - rehearsing, gathering stuff together for the show, getting lunch, resting a few minutes, then back for the show. We got barbecue for supper afterward. It was fun, though, and we had a lot of laughs during the day. She was tired. She fell asleep in the car on the way to the show. She was kind of a zombie walking in, but untrue to her normal self - hard to wake up - she woke up nicely and did fine for the evening.

MeMom you know I can't wait to get there to shop! I'll be talking to you real soon!

I'm excited that we both get to see Trent this week. :)
Since I'm out of school, I'll be able to keep up with your FB updates. :cool1:

Love the shopping pics:thumbsup2 I could just shop all day;)

Have a great recital & wonderful weekend MeMom.

Shopping is an important part of a Disney trip. :thumbsup2

I am late sorry!!!
xxx

Everyone is busy. Glad you are here! :goodvibes

[/color]

We all met at MK the next night. I flew in the night she was talking about and I did not or was not able to catch up with them so I teased that I knew where they weren't.;)

Enjoy your time in the mouse house. Even if you have still have to deal with the "real world".

And for two weeks! Wow!!! :dance3:

Oh, well that makes sense...lol

it'll be like im actually "living" at Disney...lol since it's not an actual vacation. One day though I plan to have an actual authentic Disney vacation.

When will you know if you are moving or if you are staying in FL?

Jill had desired one last visit to Main Street Bakery to end the trip.

Many things from which to choose.

As you know, they boarded up our old secret place where we used to enjoy mid-morning cinnamon rolls, so we found a new one.

Since they aren't selling hot dogs yet at this time of day, we ate right here.

IMG_8418.jpg

IMG_8419.jpg

Bella had a place to move around and Brooklynn loved the movie screen.

So, if you can't find a table at Main Street Bakery in the morning, you can probably find an empty bench at the baseball field.

IMG_8422.jpg

After munchies, shopping continued. Jill had leftover 'percentage off' coupons, so she gave them away to people who were checking out.

These little friends are waiting to be adopted by a family. I wonder how many of them went home that day.

IMG_8434.jpg

Some of the important townspeople were out and about greeting folks.

IMG_8435.jpg

The time had come to say our last goodbye for this trip.

IMG_8436.jpg

Walking away from this beautiful place for the last time is no fun at all.

So long, Disney bus!

IMG_8439.jpg

A familiar sight.

IMG_8363.jpg

Isn't it funny which pictures can fill a person with intense longing to be somewhere? Out of all the great pictures you posted, this one made me miss the Magic Kingdom so, so much! I think it is because I love the feeling of anticipation when I am standing outside the MK waiting to be let in on a summer morning.

I hear you about the craziness out there. Charles called Friday when I was on my way home and said, "I have this wonderful idea..." Well, his "wonderful" idea was to finish our Christmas shopping Friday night. I gave in to him, but it was crazy out there. My only reprieve was going to the Disney Store -- it was like a little piece of paradise right there in the middle of the madness. :lmao:

Hope you are having a great time in 'Bama!

Hi Memom and Jill!!!:yay:
I am loving every single picture!!! I am at the point where I really need a Disney fix and pictures make me feel like I am there!

Funny thing happened last night. Do you have a sec so I can tell you? :confused3 I went over to a friend's house for her 40th birthday party. They love Disney like I do and I started talking to my friend's husband about the Disboards. He said he reads them so I thought I would put it out there (as a test) if he knew who Memom and Jill were. Sure enough he did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look, we have friends in common! :lmao: The funniest part was he mentioned the name of this trip report which cracked me up since his 4 yr old son calls my Brooklyn...Brocclyn (for broccoli) too!!!:rotfl: We both thought that was funny!!!;)
Hope you are enjoying your Christmas break. I am so jealous that you get two weeks off. Obviously, the Grinch did our schedule and our first day off is Friday and Christmas is Saturday. :scared1: But don't worry I have everything under control! :santa: I loved Brooklynn's dance recital pics...she is so cute and clearly enjoyed herself up there! Hey, Jill, is it ok if I make a cupcake Christmas tree too? We all just loved yours!!!!:lovestruc

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!!!:santa::goodvibes
Love ya,
Cathy

I hate that last walk away; although this time we will have the comfort in the next trip is already booked.

I went out Friday during the day( I worked late on Fri and all weekend) and it was madness then too!

It is interesting how different people relate to different pictures. I like it when people say they can 'be there' through the pictures.

You have a Disney Store.
You have a Disney Store!!
You have a DISNEY STORE!!!
You lucky girl, you.
Glad you got to do that as a reward for your journey into Christmas chaosity. :santa:

I left to come home before they went to church. I wanted to be home and beat all the Titans craziness in Nashville today.

Check Anita's FB this week. She'll be putting up lots of pictures to give you an awesome Disney Christmas fix.

That is wild that you met someone who 'knows' us. I hope they like us. :goodvibes They are welcome to join in.

We'd love to see your cupcake tree. :thumbsup2

I hate that last walk away; although this time we will have the comfort in the next trip is already booked.

That's the only way to leave - with a new trip booked. ::yes::

Kind of like Epcot during Fodd & Wine on a Friday night.
I went out Friday during the day( I worked late on Fri and all weekend) and it was madness then too!

I don't plan to venture further than a mile from my house most of this week. I have a Kroger with a gas station, a Target, and even a Kohl's within half a mile, so anything I need or want, I should be able to get without fighting the horrible traffic.

Just a few random pictures from the last little bit of life, for anyone who cares.

My ex-car. :sad2:

Don't we all think Jill needs a little boy of her own someday? :rolleyes1

Winter2010-11008.jpg

See the sprigs in Bella's hair?

Winter2010-11009.jpg

The school my kids grew up at has their 7th and 8th graders come to my school to sing carols with the kids and bring small gifts. It's always an exciting event for us.

Winter2010-11014.jpg

I didn't take any pictures of our Japan stuff for Culture Week. It was such a slipshod thing that we put together so quickly in the midst of testing and getting the Christmas program together. It wasn't picture worthy. Maybe next year, if we have it at a better time, it will be nicer.

Our Christmas program - I do have pictures of those, but I didn't really want to show a crowd of faces, just in case. I felt okay about the one I did show of the 'Christmas buddies' with mostly side views, though.

Next up, a little preview of what is waiting for the girls at my house.

You can definitely make a cupcake Christmas tree as long as you share a picture!

A whole gang of Disney pals have shown up at my house to help me get ready for the season.

Mike and Sulley brought some chocolate reindeer.

Winter2010-11029.jpg

Baloo and Mowgli have cookies to share,

Winter2010-11028.jpg

but Abu has been trying to hide the fact that there are Christmas tree cakes.

No cakes here! :rolleyes1

Winter2010-11027.jpg

Dory was very excited to find Disney candy canes.

Winter2010-11030.jpg

She keeps forgetting where she put them, though. Hopefully they will still be here this weekend.

Beast said he'd be in charge of making sure Santa knew to stop at the houses of all good little boys and girls.

Winter2010-11031.jpg

Dumbo flew in with brownies.

Winter2010-11032.jpg

Tigger and Pooh, in from a recent safari, have these waiting for Jill and John.

Winter2010-11034.jpg

Jill gets the peppermint bark, and the Nerds are for John. Buying candy for him is easy. He likes it all.

Eeyore and Piglet enjoyed finding these treats and spending some friend time together.

Winter2010-11035.jpg

Mickey and Minnie are in charge of filling stockings.

Winter2010-11036.jpg

This is the newest member of the Disney Christmas gang.

Winter2010-11041.jpg

He was on sale for what I thought was a very decent price at Lowe's, and I just really like him. He reminds me of the window display figures in Disney World so much. Since we couldn't go this year, this was my consolation prize.

Stitch couldn't refrain from getting in the ribbon. He hopes he won't get coal again, like last year.

Winter2010-11115.jpg

Chip and Dale helped with candy bags for school.

Winter2010-11044.jpg

Cheshire Cat is in charge of cards. Here are two of his favorites.

Winter2010-11118.jpg

Eeyore did his best to help with lights.

Winter2010-11121.jpg

I'm not sure if Mushu should be trusted with this.

Winter2010-11120.jpg

Someone at school gave it to me, and it will make a whole lot of s'mores in the next two weeks. ;)

Jiminy Cricket and Owl are helping me to be wise with my money.

Winter2010-11116.jpg

Last, but not least, here are the presents.

Winter2010-11114.jpg

They are all for Brooklynn and Bella. I ended up wrapping everything separately just to make it look like more. The movies that were in the stockings are now in boxes, as is the candy. They'll have fun opening it all, I think.

Next year, we're hoping to do another Christmas to New Year's trip, but for this year, this will help bring Disney smiles to the girls (the little ones and big ones), and the boys can do their usual eye-rolling at our silliness while they wolf down all the food.

We hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

I'm here! I'm 14 pages behind but I just caught up. At least I have an excuse since I was away, although I have been home for 3 days :rolleyes1

Sad to see "Pop to the Top" end but excited for "My name is not Broccoli" to begin. Maybe one day Tink and I will finish our July report

Your house looks so lovely for Christmas. I can't wait to own a home of my own and decorate it with all those Disney touches for the holidays :)

just love all the disney animals with all those yummy treats!! Your home pictures and celebrations always always make me smile!!! Have a great break from school and stay warm!!:goodvibes

Last day is always bittersweet. Looks like ya'll made the most of it though! Looking forward to the new report. Love the "life" pictures...except for the ex-car. That one was pretty scary! Glad to know I'm not the only one that wraps thing separately so it looks like there are more presents!

Aww last days are so sad. :sad2: That's neat you found a new secret place. I had no idea Casey's was open in the morning, very cool :thumbsup2

I love all the Disney touches around your house for Christmas :santa:

I like Peppermint Bark too, but only at the holidays. :confused3 I overload on Peppermint everything and by Jan. I am over it. Until next year.

I also wrap in different paper. Not really sure why.... because my mom did!

Love all your Disney characters with all the yummy treats. I am sure the girls will have a ball with everything. I love the Peppermint bark also!!:thumbsup2 I love anything with mint & chocolate.

Love your new Mikey. He is adorable. I have a big Mickey & Minnie that my best friend gave me a few years ago for Christmas. They are keeping guard of our Christmas tree.

Just a quick Season's Greetings to you!

As you know I am knee deep in holiday shoppers...:rotfl:

I have worked so many hours in the last while I think I should just sleep there.

It will be nice to have the time to relax and DIS in the New Year.

Hope you are enjoying the quiet time before the family comes.

Love the Disney Christmas treasure hunt you set up. Very cool! :thumbsup2
You are an awesome Gramma!

So excitting that Trent comes home this week!

I'm excitted about watching the Disney parade on Christmas morning and not having to go into work.

Take Care :goodvibes

Love all the decorations. Can't wait to see the girls faces when they see what is waiting for them. The picture of your car was scary. It's amazing that Drew and his friend were ok. The Lord was watching over them.

How are your ribs feeling? Did you ever go to the doctor?

I wish I had some of those peppermint bark things. My mom says they're too expensive, but she's wrong. I love all your Disney animals.

TWO MORE HALF DAYS OF SCHOOL!

....and four finals I haven't studied for.... :rolleyes1

I actually thought of our Atlanta DIS meet while I was there since it was the same mall! :goodvibes

Your poor car! I am so glad Drew was okay! :sad1:

Love all of your Christmas visitors -- I got quite a laugh over Abu hiding the Christmas tree cakes.

What a fun updates after update these past few days! You have been busy and I love how your TR gets these “we interrupt our regular viewing to bring you an important announcement” additions from you… always precluded with the tell-tale line of colored asterisk!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

***************************

So fun! Summer... my trip seems like a memory now, too, so thank goodness for TRs!!!!

I am with Jackie, some photos really do send you right back there! And I love waiting for park entrances too! Anticipation!!! Oh, what a cute picture trying to hoola hoop!!! :rotfl: Your parade photos had me pining for a Disney trip!

I love watching from the railway station, too! I like seeing everything come out from the secret door!!! :)

I so enjoyed all of your Holiday decorations MeMom! So fun at your house. It always looks so festive. The Caroling Mickey, toooo cute! :santa:

I bought a few things off the Disney store site myself just last week, with the 2 for one deal on stuffies it was hard to pass up!! Your summer trip has me longing for warmer temps… We only had a two hour delay Friday, but they say snow on Christmas so that is special.

I am looking forward to seeing your fall trip pics, too! I have almost finished my Disneyland Halloween TR, btw, and will be up and running with my short Disneyworld Christmas trip in just a few days!

Will you be home this week? Are you going visiting or are you having Christmas at your house? You may have already said as much but I may have missed it!
