I was so proud.. I grew them from nothing and they were climbing up my lantern on my driveway.. well they were climbing.. We have lots of bunnies, chipmunks, groundhogs or whatever they are called, and someone ate it........everytime I plant something new, it gets eaten...... Any ideas?? I am so sad about my morning glories..

Sorry, not sure who's eating your vines. :( But, whoever it is... PLEASE SEND THEM MY WAY! LOL! I pull out morning glory vines constantly - they are everywhere. I've let a few grow on the fence to obscure the view and they are sort of pretty. I guess one gardener's weed is another gardener's keeper.

"A weed is just a plant you don't want in your garden."

Well I have two growing. One is doing fine - up the gutter pipe. The other away from the house on a telephone poll - 400ft up the driveway was eaten last week I think from a deer.

I too have all those other creatures, but I think it was the deer that ate it.

As a mater of fact mr/ms groundhoung has seemed to have been on its good behavoir which surprises me.

Maybe it has found a new home - I can only hope.

I have no ideas for you Mackey Mouse but I'm sorry about your Morning Glories too.
:( :( :(

That's a shame Mackey Mouse, and maybe dt is right, a deer might of eaten them. Do you have deer where you live?

I love morning glories, I think they're beautiful.

I'm not sure what happened but I planted wildflowers and morning glories and they have not come up...I'm not giving up though!!!! After now having those coneflowers bloom...shown me not to give up on anything!!!!!

Mac-key when you live with wild life it's sometimes very difficult to grow certain flowers.

Sounds like morning glories may be one. So sorry this is happening. I know how disappointing this can be.

How about a picture, Ms. Mackey? I don't even know what they are!! You know, the big green thumb that I am!! ;)

:):)

Sorry to hear you lost your morning glories. Always frustrating to lose a plant suddenly - after it had been flourishing. :(
