On the morning of 9\24 I plan to be at park 45 minutes early watch RD show
Head straight to Anna and Elsa for FP(has to be successful for my 3 yr old)
,ride PP,dump,
After Anna and Elsa have DH hop over to grab WOC FP
What do you think?

I am so fluent in WDW that when I think about my DLR trip on Tuesday I start to panic inside. I have no plan, no clue, NOTHING! Is A&E super bad like at WDW?

I've watched some video trip reports recently and they're doing this thing where you get a ticket telling you when to come back so you aren't waiting 6 hours or whatever. The one report I saw said they waited 45 minutes for the ticket and it was after 10 am. The return time was in the evening. They told you to queue up 45 minutes before your return time. So if you go by that it's down to like 1 1/2 hours from the 3+ it was. If you get over there earlier than 10 you will likely get an earlier return time. I think they were just close to running out.

Wow, that is a little crazy! Not even sure if the people I am going with will want to meet them. They are three little boys but you never know! Where do you go to get the FP?

There's supposed to be a table with a big umbrella in front of the meet & greet.

Sorry to be so dense...where is that located? :) Never been to DL and this is the first I have heard of the A & E meet and greet there!

Just to let you know, there is no Rope Drop show at DLR.

Do you only have one morning at DL? It may be tricky to do both PP and A&E in the same morning, and if you have 2 mornings at DL, it would be best to spread them out. When we went in late August, we devoted one morning to starting off with Peter Pan and on a different morning we went straight to Anna and Elsa, however, this was before they distributed FPs for A&E. When we saw Anna and Elsa, we were done in the first 15 minutes of our morning and the line for Peter Pan's flight was already looking quite long.

Oh man bummer on no RD show,we have two day park hopper tickets and MHP party tickets so no MM for us. I'm hoping a September morning won't be as bad as a August morning. Im hoping to get to A&E quick enough to not have a long wait for PP, I'm determined to go as fast as they allow me to walk. On 9\25 Will start our day at DCA.
P.S. I read your TP you got pretty savvy with your spending. My husband would love it if I vacationed like you :thumbsup2

In 2012 we walked into our first DL trip blind and regretted it. This year my son wants to do specific rides and character M&G so I have a morning plan for our two days in the park.
A&E are big right now at WDW and DLR.

If you have 2 adults, I'd send one to the A&E FP line and have the other ride PP and Dumbo (maybe Alice) with the kids (if possible). If the lines happen not to be too bad, you could always ride the rides again once the FP is obtained (if the adult who waited for the FPs wants to).

As others have said, there is no rope drop show at DL, but I would still plan on getting to the park before opening so you can get an A&E Return Ticket. They do seem to run out pretty quickly.

In terms of your family, do you all need to ride Peter Pan and Dumbo together? I ask because you could also send your DH over to DCA to get the WoC FPs as soon as you get the A&E Return Tickets. WoC FPs don't seem to run out very quickly these days, so it's probably not a big deal.

I agree that Peter Pan's line builds up quickly, so I would do that right after getting the A&E Return Ticket. If you're willing to split up, then I would have one person get the A&E Return Tickets while the other rides PP. I'd guess PP's line will be at 30+ minutes within 15 minutes of park opening. It's popular and a very slow loader.

A&E meet in Fantasyland. As you enter FL (through the castle), stay to the left side (by Snow White and Pinocchio). You'll see Olaf on the roof, just beyond Pinocchio.
